~Release of employment of 1700 Civil Servants into the State Civil and Judicial Service.

~Increment of wage award to Civil Servants from #10, 000 to #20, 000 monthly.

~Ebonyi State eagerly awaiting outcome of ongoing negotiations for new National Minimum wage for replication in the State. Ebonyi State can not be the last and we can not pay the least.

~Approval for employment of 1000 teachers into public Primary and Secondary Schools in the State.

~Approval for payment of promotion arrears to Civil Servants.

~Approval for instant payment of #5000 largesse for State Civil Servants and #4000 for employees of Local Government Areas in the spirit of workers day celebration.

~Payment of gratuity of retires from 2022 to date ongoing.

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has appointed himself as the Commissioner for Lands in the state.

He made the announcement on Tuesday during the inauguration of 24 newly-appointed commissioners at the Government House in Owerri.
According to him, the self-appointment is a measure to prevent a repeat of past incidents, citing the example of a previous commissioner who was embroiled in controversial land deals towards the end of his first tenure.
