A flower does not apologise for blooming in its own season. The rose, the sunflower, and the lily each blossom at different times, yet none is less beautiful because it arrived later. In the same way, every life follows a unique path. Comparing your journey with someone else's only robs you of the joy of appreciating your own.
Your time will come. And when it does, it will fit you perfectly (like a garment woven specifically for you). What is meant for you will arrive at the right moment, with the right opportunities, and in the right way.
Waiting, therefore, is not the same as wasting. Some seasons of life are meant for preparation rather than public celebration. They build character, deepen wisdom, strengthen faith, and equip us for responsibilities we may not yet fully understand.
There is comfort in knowing that Allah's timing is always perfect. Sometimes He holds us back, not because He has forgotten us, but because He is preparing a stage far greater than the one we are eager to step onto. Delays can be acts of mercy, protecting us from opportunities we are not yet ready to handle.
Instead of drowning in envy, choose gratitude. Celebrate others' success without assuming it diminishes your own future. Another person's blessing is not evidence that yours has been cancelled.
When your season arrives, you will understand why some doors remained closed, why some prayers seemed delayed, and why patience was necessary all along.
