BREAKING: Federal High Court Abuja today, 20th May 2022, Approved the hearing of Suit seeking for REFERENDUM to determine the fate of different Nations in Nigeria and Adjourned the Case to 20th October 2022 for hearing and judgments

Details: The ongoing referendum suit introduced by the Coalition of Northern Group CNG in a bid to let every nations in Nigeria make decision on whether to leave Nigeria or stay has just concluded its hearing at the Federal High Court today being 20th May, 2022.

The presiding judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo has given attention to the suit by granting requests by various lawyers who arrived the court to represent their nations.

Nations including the Igbo Nation, Ijaw Nation, Yoruba Nation, Arewa Nation etc were all duly represented.

On granting applications joining the Igbo Nation as a defendant in the referendum case, the court adjourned the hearing to 20th October, 2022 for further hearing and judgments.

Victor Onweremadu Esq, Felix Jonathan and other lawyers including an Igbo elder were there to represent the Igbo Nation.

Nigerian Singer, Slim Joe Is Dead

Popular recording artiste and entertainer, Slim Joe Omo Alajo (Joshua Olonitan) is dead.

The singer was down with kidney ailment and needed N15million for surgery to rise to his feet again.

The entertainer, who ruled the airwaves with ‘O ti Yanyan’ and many other hit songs and collaborations, was diagnosed with the kidney failure and has been on dialysis for some time.

The versatile entertainer, who hails from Odo-Ayedun in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, had called for the kind support of Nigerians to raise the required amount to stay alive.

The singer, however, died on Sunday at the age of 30.

His colleague, Raymond Gbaji, confirmed his death on Sunday.

Some people worry about what might happen to their businesses and investments scattered all over the country as well as long term relationships including intra-ethnic marriages, forgetting that Igbo, Yoruba, Tiv, Kanuri, Hausa, Izon and other nationals in Nigeria own and operate businesses in Ghana, Dubai, England, the US and everywhere across the globe. If we separate peacefully those who own hotels and estates in Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Jalingo and Port Harcourt would continue to own and run their businesses just as non-indigenes/non-nationals/non-residents run their businesses all over the world. Nothing would happen to marriages; there are inter-ethnic, inter-racial marriages the world over. It is left for the couple to decide where to call home.”
At one point or the other every known political leader in this contraption created by British commercial interest and greed, has described Nigeria as a mistake, a mere geographical expression, a marriage of contradictions, a clog in the wheel of the nationalities forcibly yoked together, an unworkable entity, or an outright tragedy. There is no negative word in the dictionary of every language spoken in the Nigeria space that has not been used to describe the country viewed as a giant zoo with tigers and sheep, hyenas and pigs, hawks and chickens locked up in one borderless and un-demarcated cage.

There is hardly any place in the vast expanse of land christened ‘Nigger-area’ by Lugard’s Ms Shaw that is not under siege imposed on the country by obvious failure of governance, crass mismanagement of pluralism and diversity as well as wrong-headed expansionist and colonization ambitions. And there is no ethnic nationality that is happy and fulfilled in this joke of a ‘union’ wobbling in the dark.
