A Call for Unity, Justice, and Sustainable Peace – Auwal Abdulkarim Aboutrika

We are deeply inspired by the remarkable show of solidarity demonstrated by MC Wingalo DeMayor alongside many Christian faithfuls in the matter concerning Abdulmumin Imam.

This act of unity stands as a powerful reminder that, despite our differences in faith and ethnicity, our shared humanity remains stronger than any line that seeks to divide us.

At a time when tensions can easily be manipulated, this moment reflects hope hope for a future where mutual respect, compassion, and collective responsibility guide our actions. It shows that Nigerians can rise above divisions and stand together in the pursuit of justice, peace, and dignity for all.

However, this unity must not be fleeting. It must be nurtured and sustained as we continue our collective quest for meaningful development. True progress cannot thrive in an environment where violence is recycled, where perpetrators are rehabilitated and released without accountability, only to return and inflict further harm on innocent and vulnerable citizens.

We must, as a people, reject every attempt to divide us and instead strengthen the bonds that unite us. Our voices, when raised together, can demand accountability, promote peace, and safeguard our communities.

Let this moment not pass as just an example, but become a movement one that reinforces our commitment to unity, justice, and a safer society for all.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we can build the future we deserve.
