Firstly, I shared it to let you know that our ADVERSARY IS A ROARING LION, ALWAYS PREPARED LOOKING FOR WHO TO DEVOUR, so WATCH and PRAY. No one is immuned to temptation, don't be for one spiritually idle or nonchalant because IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED, SATAN IS.
Secondly, I want you to be encouraged if you're a victim of sexual addiction, take courage and hope because if Jesus can deliver me from it and rescue me today being a man like you, then he can also totally deliver you from it if you're ready to cooperate with him. You can be free from P**N.
Thirdly, I want you to know that the truthfulness of our outward confession of Christ is made valid by what we do in the secret places of our life. I could have watched it and still come out as a SAINT, hmm! The greatest place to honor God isn't in the church, no! It is in your secret place, that moment when no one can physically see what you're doing; HOW IS YOUR SECRET PLACE?
Finally, God will always rescue us from temptations as long as we're ready to say YES to him. It isn't by strength that we overcome temptations but by our ability to choose to obey God's word in the heart even when our body don't feel like it; I read in a brother's status, be said our biggest concern shouldn't be in saying NO to Satan but in saying YES to Jesus. Are you blessed by that?
Good afternoon ❤️❤️, can we discuss an important issue today? If yes, then let's go:
Something happened to me today while reading, although it happened last week and I shared it with a friend we usually pray together in the hostel and today it happened again, you might be wondering what is it?
As I was reading today, Satan spoke to me and said "Take your phone, go to Google and watch P**N!", I was scared, what? P**n? Well maybe I forgot to tell you, I used to be a slave to p**n and ma********on, it was an addiction I struggled with for a long period of time, thanks to Jesus for delivering me from its ugly hands. As if that wasn't enough, he (Satan) began to show me in my imagination the pictures of the p**n I've watched in the past, hmm! What happened next?
At first I began to speak in tongue, I began to pray but the more I prayed, the louder Satan's voice was, I didn't know what to do, hmm! First, second, third, fourth hour, I didn't know what to do, hmm! My mind was restless, should I do it, but no one would see me, should I? It was a very delicate moment for me cos I became physically weak due to the war going on in my mind, but glory to Jesus, after about 4 hours, I said NO! I won't watch P**N, I won't!
I took my Bible, and began to meditate in my heart, and then SATAN left after 4 hours of persistent persuasion, hmm! Why did I share this? I didn't share it to show that I'm a spiritual Guru or a mighty general of faith, no! Nor did I share it to let you think highly of me more than I am, why then did I share it?
