Reports and discussions circulating online have alleged that xenophobia in South Africa is being influenced or indirectly supported by external powers, including the Un!ted States and parts of the West.
It has also been claimed that certain white South African elites are aware of or connected to efforts aimed at weakening unity between Black South Africans and other Black Africans across the continent.
According to these claims, such divisions could affect regional stability and eventually influence politics and immigration policies in South Africa, with possible effects on Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
The discussions further linked these concerns to wider global geopolitical tensions, including debates surrounding the Middle East and the “Greater Isr@el” project.
⚠️ These claims remain unverified and widely debated.
