They say the universe was once a single womb—vast, silent, breathing in the rhythm of creation. Inside it, the Mother carried two seeds, destined to balance the worlds.

On the night she gave birth, the skies split. A storm of light and shadow poured into her chamber. Her cries mixed with thunder, her sweat became rivers, and her heartbeat echoed like drums of war. She had been warned: no woman births balance without sacrifice.

The first child emerged with skin as deep as midnight, carrying the silence of the earth, the weight of secrets, and the strength of roots. His presence was like a mountain—steady, unyielding, protective. He was made from the charcoal of stars, meant to remind humanity of grounding.

The second child slid into the world pale as dawn, glowing with the purity of unbroken light. His body carried the whispers of winds, the clarity of vision, and the brilliance of fire. He was made from the bones of the moon, meant to remind humanity of hope.

The Mother wept, not from pain, but from knowing what their existence meant:
Wherever her children walked, the world would be forced to see that life itself is a paradox—dark and light, earth and sky, shadow and flame.

They were not born to look alike, yet they were twins of destiny. One carried the calm of endings; the other, the promise of beginnings. One could destroy with silence; the other could blind with light. Together, they were not doom nor salvation, but the choice in between.

Others believed if they embraced, the universe would finally heal.

But only the Mother knew the truth:
She had not birthed disaster. She had not birthed perfection. She had birthed the question every generation must answer—
