Our client is a leading construction company committed to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. They are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Waste Manager to join their team in Lagos.

LOCATION:
Lagos

SALARY BUDGET:
₦300,000 – ₦350,000 monthly salary

REPORTS TO:
Project Manager / Operations Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the operations of waste collection, transportation, and disposal services.
- Organize, manage, and optimize waste collection, transportation, processing, and disposal.
- Develop and implement waste management strategies and policies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Manage budgets and monitor financial performance of waste management operations.
- Supervise and train waste management personnel.
- Coordinate with government agencies, community organizations, and private contractors.
- Conduct audits and inspections of waste facilities and operations.
- Address public inquiries and concerns regarding waste management services.
- Prepare and present reports on waste management performance and initiatives.
- Implement health and safety guidelines for waste management operations.
- Utilize data and technology to optimize waste management processes.
- Formulate and control the budget for waste disposal.
- Monitor the quality and performance of waste services, including contract management of external providers.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in waste management or a related field.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal waste management regulations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and public relations abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with waste management technologies and software.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Project management experience.

This is a part-time contractor role ideal for someone who can consistently produce quality content, meet agreed deadlines, receive feedback positively, and grow alongside the GH&F26 brand.

Key Responsibilities
* Publish two posts per day on Instagram.
* Publish two posts per day on TikTok.
* Edit short-form videos, Reels, and voice-over content.
* Create attractive, educational carousel posts and social media graphics.
* Transform the educational information, ideas, and direction provided into engaging content.
* Develop original content ideas that align with the GH&F26 mission and brand.
* Create simple healthy lifestyle, food, meal-preparation, wellness, or product-related content when appropriate. This may include filming food, ingredients, meal preparation, grocery items, or lifestyle scenes without necessarily appearing on camera.
* Write or improve captions, hooks, headlines, and on-screen text.
* Organize content using a content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
* Maintain the brand’s tone, messaging, and visual identity across all content.
* Provide a brief weekly/monthly social media analytics summary highlighting content performance, audience engagement, and recommendations for future improvements.

* An interest in healthy lifestyle, wellness, nutrition, or women-focused content.
* Excellent organization and reliability.

* A positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback and make revisions when needed.
* The ability to work independently while communicating progress consistently.
