POV: You live 23 minutes away from your sonโs boarding school in Nigeria! ๐ณ๐ฌ
Next time weโre making fried chicken at home - that grease whew ๐
But wait, did you see his face when we first showed up ๐. We visited him the day before this and hung out. So this was the next day and we didnโt tell him we were coming. He was like, โexcuse me, why are you hereโ ๐! I blurred out his friends though, but they all turned around and laughed when they saw Hubs & I waving lol.
Iโm just so glad he enjoys his boarding school and friends. Thereโs a level of peace of mind that comes with that. I remember having panic attacks when he first went to boarding school. My baby who was always with me 24/7 and homeschooled, all of a sudden wasnโt there at night or day. Whew ๐ญ it was hard, I wonโt lie fam. Probably harder on me than him.
I do also glad that we can visit him anytime, see him anytime and he can also come home on the weekends if he wants to. Most of the time he does prefer to stay at school and play football โฝ๏ธ and other sports with his friends! They have great football pitch there.
Ps, fam your nephew said the first thing heโll do when he gets to the U.S. this summer is go to Canes and order fried chicken ๐ญ๐. What is the obsession though? I mean I love fried chicken and he liked it but thatโs all he talks about now ๐. Heโs been watching too many fried chicken mukbang videos. I donโt know lol
๐ซ๐ท Weโll be heading back for our yearly Summer Camp and this time weโre heading to Paris & Nice, France - July 11-25th! If youโre interested, just type summer camp and Iโll send over all the details. Enrollment is ending soon, so itโs now or never ๐๐!
