PHOTOS: Police Called To Rihanna’s House After Man Shows Up To Propose

A yet-to-be identified man who travelled to Los Angeles from South Carolina and showed up at Pop star Rihanna's Beverly Hills home to propose to the singer was detained by Los Angeles police on Thursday.

According to DailyMail on Thursday, The man arrived at the singer's house and informed her security he was there to ask for her hand in marriage.

Rihanna's security team alerted the police, who arrived, handcuffed the man, put him in a car, and had a serious talk with him about his intentions.

It is unknown whether the singer, who is expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky, was at home at the time, but the man was eventually released and told never to return.

World heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, and his wife, Paris, are expecting their seventh child.

Fury made the announcement while sharing a picture from his date night with his wife via his Instagram account on Thursday.

He captioned the picture, “All is not lost! I get to date night with my beautiful pregnant wife . God is great!.

Beyoncé, Adidas To Part Ways After Five-year Partnership

Superstar musician Beyonce and sports brand Adidas have reportedly agreed to mutually end their creative partnership together.

In 2018, the chart-topping artist and Adidas entered a creative partnership when the 32-time Grammy Award winner relaunched her activewear brand Ivy Park, which also lead to the development of new footwear.

Daily Mail reports that despite Beyoncé being one of the biggest superstars in the world, Ivy Park has not lived up to the expectation of the German sports giant. In February, a Wall Street Journal source suggested that the line was up to $200 million short of Adidas' projections.

According to a source linked to The Hollywood Reporter, there have been "major creative differences between Ivy Park and Adidas" which has led to the demise of their working relationship after five years.

The source added, "Beyoncé is excitedly looking to reclaim her brand, chart her path and maintain creative freedom".

Beyoncé first launched Ivy Park in 2016 in a 50-50 venture with former Arcadia Group boss Sir Phillip Green.

The partnership ended two years later, with the Sweet Dreams singer assuming full ownership of the brand.

Nigeria Ranks 95th Happiest Nation Worldwide

Nigeria ranked 95th happiest nation in the world with 4.981 points, according to the latest edition of the World Happiness Report.

The report was released on Monday by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network as part of the United Nations’ International Day of Happiness on March 20.

The report’s focus is on happiness as measured by life evaluations and emotions, how they have evolved in crisis situations, and how people's lives have improved where trust, generosity, and supportive social connections have thrived.
It assigns a happiness score on a scale of zero to 10, based on an average over a three-year period.

Finland maintained its lead as the world's happiest country for the sixth year in a row, with a score significantly ahead of all other countries, while Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the ranking in a league table of 137 countries.

Denmark remains in second place as Iceland ranks third. Israel is ranked fourth, up five spots from last year.

The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Switzerland are ranked fifth through eighth. Luxembourg and New Zealand round out the top ten.
