Some time ago, I was leaving my office when my work I.D. card slipped from my pocket. I discovered after leaving the office that my I.D. card wasn't in my pocket, and I didn't particularly know where it fell. So, to avoid my card being found at a crime scene, I had to quickly report the issue at a police station in Makurdi.

At the station, I met two very ugly female police officers at the counter where I told them what had happened. The summary of it is that these two ladies collected money from me after entering my issue in a hard cover note meant for the purpose. This is ordinarilly something that doesn't require any payment, but they had to live up to their corrupt nature by extorting me.

When I got to the office the next day, lo and behold, my I.D. card was on the floor.

I've had other not too pleasant experiences in the hands of the Nigeria police. Most Nigerians have had their fair share of the shenanigans of the Nigeria police force.

In the face of all of these, the Nigeria police will never fail to remind us that, THE POLICE IS YOUR FRIEND. Really? Is the police really my friend or your friend?

Will my friend extort money from me?
Will my friend collect money for bail?
Will my friend brutalize me?
Will my friend threaten to shoot me with a weapon bought with tax payers money?
Will my friend shoot to kill?

If these and more, are what the Nigeria police force is capable of doing to me or you, then they don't deserve to be my friend or your friend.

Some gallant officers and men of the Nigeria military while confronting terrorists pay the supreme price. The terrorists oftentimes are also k!lled by the military.

When the terrorists capture an officer or men of the Nigeria military, the make a show of it before they unalive them. But guess what the Nigeria military do to terrorists when the capture them? They de-radicalize and integrate them into the society.

Isn't this foolishness on the part of the Nigeria military?

Nigerians Roast Yul Edoche For his Comments on ADC

Nigerians on X (formerly Twitter) have reacted viciously to the comment by actor Yul Edoche for undermining the capacity of the ADC to fix Nigeria.

In a post on his verified X account, Yul said, “ADC cannot fix this country. They have all been tested before and they all failed woefully.”

This did not go down well with Nigerians especially the supporters of the ADC who lambasted him for making such a comment.
said, “this one wey no fit fix him marriage dey talk. Even in your family you will still lose election.”
said, “What has APC done for the last three years...
Has APC not failed woefully?
I don't blame you..
You have a price and you have be bought…”

These are among the loads of commenters who did not take lightly the post of Yul Edoche who is a staunch supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Dabiri-Erewa Under Fire Over Social Media Jab at Peter Obi

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chair of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, sparked backlash online after responding to a supporter, Debbieonyemaech, who had used the slang “agbero” (street thug). Dabiri-Erewa fired back with “Obingo Obi diot,” a remark widely interpreted as a jab at opposition figure Peter Obi.

The exchange escalated from earlier name-calling, including terms like “Didinrin” and “Dodoyo,” both used to imply foolishness. What began as a brief back-and-forth quickly went viral, attracting over 128,000 views and drawing hundreds of reactions—many of them critical.

A large number of users condemned Dabiri-Erewa’s tone, arguing that such language falls short of the professionalism expected from someone in her position, particularly as a senior official who has served under both Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu. Critics pointed to her age and public office as reasons she should model restraint, while some supporters of the ruling party defended her response as part of the ongoing clashes between pro-government voices and supporters of Obi, often referred to as “Obidients.”

As of now, Dabiri-Erewa has neither deleted the post nor issued any further clarification.

Find attached some of the altercations between Erewa and some netizens.

I AM THE AUTHENTIC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APC - Dr. Hafsatu Danladi

Danladi released a statement reaffirming her claim as the party’s legitimate national chairperson, stating she would pursue legal action to compel INEC to withdraw recognition of the National Working Committee led by Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda. Her position comes in the wake of the APC’s March 28 convention in Abuja, where Yilwatda was returned unopposed, despite criticisms over irregularities in the delegate process.

The APC rejected Danladi’s assertions, describing them as unfounded. Meanwhile, reactions across social media have largely taken a humorous turn, with users sharing memes and satire that underscore the party’s internal divisions as the 2027 elections draw closer.

Allowing Bill Gates to participate in the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting is inferiority complex on the part of Nigerians (NEC). It's the same mentality we have as Nigerians where foreign made goods are considered superior over the locally produced ones.

Besides, will Dangote be allowed to participate in the NEC of the United States of America?
