Not every weekend has to be productive.

Some moments are simply meant to be enjoyed without guilt, without rushing, and without asking what they will accomplish.

Take the slower road sometimes.

Life is happening there too. 🌿

Sometimes showing up with a smile is already an act of strength.

You never really know what someone had to swallow before they walked into the room.

What we see isn't always what it cost.

Prolonged exposure to conflict, rejection, loneliness, pressure, fear, disappointment, or anything that continually wears you down can affect how you feel and function.

Sometimes the distress isn't obvious.

It can look like constant tiredness, irritability, withdrawal, losing interest in things, feeling numb, or simply feeling like you've had enough.

So how do you get out of it?

You don't usually get out of it by simply becoming stronger.

You start by being honest about what is hurting you.

Then, where possible:

• Stop pretending it doesn't affect you.
• Identify what you can actually change.
• Create distance from what continues to harm you.
• Talk to someone you trust instead of carrying it alone.
• If the distress persists or begins affecting your daily life, consider speaking with a qualified mental-health professional.

Sometimes, feeling better doesn't begin with learning to endure more.

It begins with admitting that what you've been enduring is costing you something.

Sometimes the distance isn't in the space between two people.

It's in who they have become.

Have you ever watched someone stay, yet somehow feel like a stranger?

Sometimes silence isn’t peace.

Sometimes, it’s what remains after someone has stopped trying to be heard.

When Hurt Turns Into Exhaustion

Sometimes silence isn't peace.
Sometimes it's what remains after someone has stopped trying.
