HOW TO CHARGE MORE FOR CREATIVE ASSIGNMENTS - Despite the starving creative stereotype, that doesn’t have to be your life. Our work has value, otherwise it wouldn’t be in high demand and it’s time we started putting some respect on the work we do! Who’s with me?!
Moreover, the less you charge, the more jobs you have to take on to sustain yourself, the more stressed out you are, and the less creative energy you can put into each job. In other words, you kind of do your clients a disservice when you undervalue your work, wouldn’t you agree?
And don’t get me wrong, I’ve been there. But over the past few months, I’ve been inspired by the likes of Chris Do and then my friend, Sun Yi to shed the scarcity mindset and place more value on my work. And trust me, it isn’t something that happens overnight.
So in today’s post, I’ve outlined steps in the journey toward charging more for your creative assignments.
I hope it gets you along your way to a less stressful, thriving creative life!
