I Would Choose Arsenal Winning The Premier League instead of me to Win A Grammy Award — Rapper Odumodu Blvck

Nigerian rapper Odumodu Blvck has revealed just how much winning the Premier League with Arsenal would mean to him, saying he would gladly sacrifice a Grammy Award to see the Gunners lift the title.

Speaking during an interview on Capital XTRA, the outspoken Arsenal supporter recalled how strongly he felt about the club’s title race, particularly during their battle with Manchester City.

He said: “If you gave me the opportunity to win a Grammy Award, or let Arsenal win that Premier League, I would have chosen that Premier League. Take it to the bank.”

The rapper further illustrated his point with a hypothetical situation, saying he would still choose Arsenal winning the league even if it meant giving up a Grammy.

“If I had the chance to win a Grammy Award… and they say let that West Ham goal count, or whatever, let them cancel that West Ham goal for Arsenal to win the league, which one would you pick? I would pick that league, ahead of the Grammy Award,” he said.

Two Suspects Arrested With 35 Bundles Of St%len Human Hair In Edo State

Two men have been apprehended by the Edo State Security Corps in connection with an alleged r%bbery at a human hair store in the GRA area of Benin City, Edo State.

The suspects, identified as Ekobase and Okau, were reportedly tracked down after investigators examined CCTV recordings from the incident and deployed technical intelligence to identify those allegedly involved.

According to the security corps, footage from the shop allegedly captured Ekobase brandishing a gÂĄn, thre@tening the workers and locking them in an inner room. Okau was reportedly seen removing over 90 bundles of human hair from the premises.

The st%len products, which reportedly included wigs, were said to be worth millions of naira. Investigators also alleged that the suspects used a minibus painted in the state-approved colour to carry out the operation.

Following their arrest, operatives reportedly found 35 bundles of human hair in the suspects’ possession.

The shop owner said the business had been targeted previously and that efforts had been made to identify the perpetrators.

“My shop was r%bbed, and ever since then we’ve been on the lookout for the criminals, three guys and a lady. But we just got to hear that the Edo State Security Corps have found them, and we are more than thrilled,” the victim said.

The Acting Corps Commander, Richard Balogun, disclosed that the suspects had been questioned during the preliminary stage of the investigation. He said the review of CCTV footage, combined with technical intelligence, helped security operatives locate and arrest them.

The suspects and the recovered items have since been transferred to the Intelligence Rapid Response Team at the Nigerian Police Force headquarters in Benin City for further investigation and possible prosecution.

If I Were Playing Football In This Era, My Market Value Would Be €150 Million — Ex-Super Eagles Striker, Yakubu Ayegbeni Declares

Former Super Eagles striker Yakubu Ayegbeni has claimed that he could have been worth around €150 million if he were playing football in the current era.

Yakubu made the statement during a recent interview while reflecting on his playing career, transfer fees and the pressure that came with being signed for big money.

The former Premier League striker compared the transfer fees of his era with the current market, noting that players who score around 10 goals in the Premier League can now command fees of about €50 million.

“You see players now, I’m sorry to say, you score 10 goals, it’s €50 million. Ten goals in the Premier League is €50 million,” Yakubu said.

He pointed out that he regularly scored around 15 goals per season in the Premier League, adding that his performances would likely have attracted a much higher valuation in today’s transfer market.

“I scored every year, it’s like 15, 15 in the Premier League,” he said.

Yakubu also recalled his £11.5 million transfer from Middlesbrough to Everton, suggesting that the fee would be equivalent to around €150 million in today’s market.

“And then from Borough to Everton was like £11.5 million, and that £11.5 million is like €150 million,” he explained.

The former striker further spoke about the pressure that came with being signed for significant transfer fees, recalling his ÂŁ7.5 million move from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough.

“It was a lot of pressure to deliver. Big pressure,” Yakubu said. “From Portsmouth to Borough was like £7.5 million, was massive.”

He explained that players who are bought for large sums are expected to justify the investment by performing at their best.

“When you’re bought for big amount of money, you have to deliver your best,” he added.

Yakubu ultimately maintained that, considering his goalscoring record and the huge transfer fees commanded by players today, he could have been valued at around €150 million during his prime.
