But one morning, a 15-year-old girl wakes up to find her future shadow missing.

By sunset, news spreads that people without future shadows are vanishing.

Write a suspenseful sci-fi story about what happened to her future self, what the shadows truly are, and whether she can restore her missing shadow before darkness falls.
