๐Ÿ›‘Prayer Has Never Helped Any Nation.

If you are kidnapped and your pastor or Imam says the only thing he can offer you is prayer then that pastor or Imam is a demon.

Because when it comes to the welfare and security of the pastor or Iman prayer is set aside for bulletproof convoy and armed mobile policemen and above all MONEY solves all their problems.

Prayers cannot be used to pay ransom understand that and have peace.

The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed viral reports claiming that armed bandits have invaded communities in Ibeju-Lekki, Imota, Oko-Afo and other parts of Lagos State, describing the security alerts as false and misleading.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said there is currently no security crisis, invasion, or coordinated attack on any school or community in the affected areas.

According to the police, the false reports were deliberately circulated to create fear and panic among residents. The command assured the public that schools across the state remain safe, while security agencies continue to maintain adequate surveillance and security presence in all communities.

The police, however, revealed that the misinformation had already resulted in a tragic loss of life. A 24-year-old commercial motorcyclist, identified as Kulaha Ayuba, was allegedly attacked and killed after being falsely accused of being a Fulani bandit.

The command said some youths, acting on unverified information about a supposed bandit invasion, assaulted the victim. His motorcycle was reportedly stolen, while his body was later discovered in a swamp within the community.

Police said 15 suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and are currently under investigation.

The command warned that anyone found responsible for originating or spreading false information capable of causing public disorder, ethnic tension, or violence would be investigated and prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai, urged residents to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding, advising them to verify security information through official channels and report suspicious activities to the police.

The development comes as local authorities in Ibeju-Lekki and Imota have also reassured residents that their communities remain peaceful and secure despite the circulation of viral videos and reports alleging bandit attacks.

The notorious bandit leader, Kachallah Muhammad, has established communication with relatives of the abducted retired senior military officer, Major General Rabe Abubakar Batsari,

Sources said that the bandit kingpin, who operates in parts of Katsina State, opened a line of communication with the family of the retired General on Monday morning.

A senior local government official in Batsari, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to security concerns, confirmed that he personally spoke with the abducted officer during the conversation facilitated by the bandit leader.

"I spoke with Major General Rabe through Kachallah Muhammad. He told us that he is hale and hearty and that his wife is also fine,โ€ the official said.

The official further disclosed that during the interaction, Kachallah Muhammad made his demands clear, insisting on the release of his relatives, allegedly being held by Nigerian security authorities.

๐Ÿ›‘ : My Husband Now Sleeps At 3am - Tinubuโ€™s Wife Says...

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria's first lady has reaffirmed the Federal Governmentโ€™s commitment to strengthening national security and dismantling criminal syndicates operating across the country.

She gave the assurance on Saturday during an engagement with traditional rulers in Ekiti State at the Jibowu Hall, Government House, Ado-Ekiti, as part of her one-day working visit to the state.

According to her, the administration is deepening both domestic and international security collaborations aimed at addressing kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes nationwide.

โ€œThe US and some other developed countries are helping us in this matter. Some of those terrorising us are non-Nigerians. No matter what happens, we shall overcome, Nigeria is too great to be intimidated,โ€ she said.

She stressed that President Tinubu remains fully engaged in efforts to restore peace and stability across the federation, noting that security operations are ongoing round the clock.

โ€œI can assure you, we donโ€™t have Mondays or Sundays. The President is working round the clock to get this matter resolved. At times, Mr President will sleep at 3:00am and God has been faithful,โ€ she added.

The First Lady urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and prayerful, saying that collective effort is required to overcome the countryโ€™s security challenges.

She also highlighted interventions under the Renewed Hope Initiative in Ekiti State, including the establishment of an ICT centre at Ekiti State University and scholarships worth over N200 million for students.

According to her, about 2,000 traders have benefited from โ‚ฆ50,000 grants each, while elderly citizens and persons living with disabilities continue to receive support under various empowerment programmes.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, Oba Adejimi Adu-Alagbado, called for urgent reforms in Nigeriaโ€™s security architecture.

He urged the Federal Government to strengthen laws against kidnapping and fast-track the establishment of state police, arguing that decentralised policing would improve security response.

โ€œThe bill for the creation of state police should be fasttracked,โ€ the monarch said, while also expressing confidence in President Tinubuโ€™s leadership and pledging continued support from traditional institutions.
