In 10 days a millennium hips is sure for each.
We heard the wailing from the distant land of obagaji.

Agada's swamp has become a battle field.
From the shores of the Benue River to the hinterland of Agatu all in chaos.
Hips of rice seedlings laying waste in the fields.
Sprouting without order.
Only vultures roams the sky.

Once a village so wealthy has become poor of souls to inhabit.
Cries for help fell on deaf ears.
Why would his killers not spare him even if they both bow towards Kaaba.
We will starve at harvest the Agatus laments from exiled land.

Gladly it's harvest Agada's fate has been known from planting days.
Terna's barn is filled with yams from harvest,
Same as Nongo, Aondona, Ahangba, and Tor.
While Bem, Shater, Kuma, Ter and Ternenge prepares for harvest.

There was a siege at 2am.
Uninvited guest, they arrived from behind the house not from the footpath in the front yard.
The Ate that once hosted them on a sumptuous meal,
Now blazes with fire.
From the distant the were screams not of Mama Calling on her children to return from the play ground.
But for wiping over the butchered body of her children gushing out blood.
Suddenly, just suddenly mama too goes silent.
There were fireworks not of Christmas light,
But of gun shots shot at village running in to bush without direction.

At day light Nongo, Aondona, Ahangba, Ben, Shater, Kuma, Ter and Ternenge were found lifeless in their harvest.
While Terna, Nongo, Aondona, Ahangba, and Tor's harvest were served uncooked to cows.

Same fate the man from Biam and the man from Agatu suffers.
There both inherited the Benue Valley from their fathers.
Their crime was the warm reception during the daylight.

Eyewitnesses report that a policeman, while trying to shoot at a vehicle they were chasing along Gbagi market road in Ibadan, hit an innocent school student with a stray bullet while he was in his father’s car. The student was rushed to Welfare Hospital but was declared dead on arrival (DOA).
