I am Queen May Yul-Edochie. I was born on 16 September 1983. I am an Igbo woman from Anambra State. I grew up in Lagos where my childhood shaped the woman I am today. Life has taught me strength, patience and grace, and even though I have walked through storms, I carry my story with dignity because it is part of who I am.
In 2004 I married Yul Edochie and together we were blessed with four beautiful children, my daughter Daniella and my sons Kambi, Karl and Zane. In March 2023 my first son, Kambi, passed away, and that pain will always live in my heart, yet I have chosen to live with courage for the sake of my other children who look up to me every single day. My marriage faced public challenges in 2022, and I chose the path of peace and separation, trusting that my happiness and healing matter too.
Over the years I have grown into a voice for women, for families, and for resilience, and my journey has been recognised with honours such as Eminent Peace Ambassador in 2023, Most Influential Women in Africa in 2024, and many brand influencer awards across Nigeria and beyond.
I remain grateful for the love and support of people who believe in me, who stand with me, and who remind me every day that my story is not only mine but a source of strength for others. Thank you for walking with me! ππΎ
