Seth Rollins’s character is truly underrated In the WWE.
Seth’s character has always been fighting to be the 1A or 1B of the WWE.
All those years Roman was the guy, Seth was always chasing to be right there with Roman as a 1B.
So when Cody came around, and announced to the world he wants the title, Rollins kept trying to push him down from the top, even though he took his L clean at Mania.
Fast forward to 2023, Punk comes around and now Seth has to deal with another star that is a threat to his goal of becoming 1A.
Seth uses the “you left the company and tried to tarnish it” as a coping mechanism, but the reality is he wouldn’t care if Seth was the Official 1A Top dog.
Why do you think all of a sudden Seth became cool with Cody and became his shield to help dethrone Roman, it was all about eliminating the top dog, so there’s less competition.
And before helping Cody, he was begging Cody to face him, all because he wanted his title and himself to be THE PRIORITY, not because it’s the “Dusty Title”
Fast Forward to now, Seth believes he’s done it. He pinned Roman in the main event of WrestleMania, he’s pinned Punk for the title, and he believes Cody is his backup Quarterback.
If Seth wins at Crown Jewel, I expect him to call himself the face of the industry, No doubt.
