"The Boy Who Found His Big Voice"* 😄📚
Theme: Learning to stand up for yourself_
*THE PROBLEM*
There was a child who was very sweet and obedient. But anytime someone took his food, his pen, or pushed him in line, he would just whisper "okay" and keep quiet.
He thought keeping quiet would make the problem go away.
Instead, it made people take more. He went home hungry, borrowed, and always felt small.
His parent noticed. "Why are you always quiet when someone is wronging you?"
The child said, "I don’t know what to say... and my voice is shaking."
*THE TRAINING*
So the parent decided to teach him at home.
First lesson: *Practice in front of the mirror.*
Stand straight, shoulders back, and say out loud: "No." "Stop." "That is mine."
At first it sounded like a whisper. After practicing every day, the voice got stronger. Like ordering food at a buka 😂
Second lesson: *Boldness is not shouting or fighting.*
It’s speaking calmly, clearly, and looking the person in the eye.
It’s knowing: "My things matter. My feelings matter. My body matters."
Third lesson: *Ask for help.*
If the person doesn’t stop, go and tell a trusted adult - parent, teacher, guardian. You don’t have to fight alone.
*THE TEST*
The next day at school, someone tried to collect his snacks again.
Old habit said "keep quiet". New training said "speak up".
Heart was beating, but he stood up straight and said: "No. Don’t take my food."
The person was surprised and walked away.
Later during group work, some people wanted him to do all the work.
He said: "We should share the work equally. I will do this part."
In the end, the teacher praised the whole group because everyone did their part.
