Here’s a step-by-step guide to open a YouTube channel and set it up for monetization in Nigeria (or anywhere eligible):
📌 Step 1: Create a Google Account
1. Go to 👉 accounts.google.com.
If you have existing email no need to create new one again
2. Click Create account choose For myself or business if you want a brand account.
3. Fill in your details and verify your email/phone.

📌 Step 2: Create Your YouTube Channel
1. Sign in to YouTube with your Google account.
2. Click your profile picture (down right).
3. Select Create a channel.
4. Choose your channel name & profile picture.
5. Customize banner, description, and links important for branding.
📌 Step 3: Upload Your First Videos
Click the camera icon + Upload video.
Fill in:
Title catchy & keyword-rich.
Description (explain video + add links).
Tags (use keywords people search for).
Thumbnail custom, clear, bright
Publish it.
