WHAT IS CASH FLOW?
Can I ask you something? π
Have you ever had money in your account but still felt completely broke?
Or watched a business that was making good sales suddenly shut down because they had "no money?"
That right there is a cash flow problem. And it's more common in Nigeria than you think.
So what is cash flow? π
Simply put β cash flow is money coming IN and money going OUT of your pocket or business.
π Positive cash flow = more coming in than going out β
β€οΈ Negative cash flow = more going out than coming in β
*For working adults:*
You can earn β¦150,000 and still be broke if β¦160,000 worth of expenses leave your account every month. It's not about how much you earn, it's about how much stays.
*For business owners:*
Sales and cash are not the same thing. You can sell β¦500,000 worth of goods and still have no cash to run your business if your customers owe you and your suppliers want payment now.
Here's what to do π
β
Track every naira coming in and going out β weekly
β
Never spend money you haven't received yet
β
Always know your numbers β ignorance is expensive
β
Build a cash buffer β at least one month of expenses
It's not about what you make. It's about what you keep and how you manage it. π°
Save this and share it with a business owner or working adult who needs to see it π
β Great
