Sir your victory is a victory for all tarabans irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state.

May your renowned brilliance not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrandizement, your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and not god-fatherism.

You contested the election for the first time and qualified, your campaign slogan of Rebuilding Taraba is one which encapsulates the whole yearning of the masses and we expect that you will hit the ground running as you face this daunting task.

The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make tarabans be proud of you.

Let your word be your bond.
Let there be a positive difference seen and felt across the state.

Mr. Ayuba Anthony Sale of the All progressive Grand Alliance, APGA has been declared winner of the party's primary election to represent Ardo kola, Lau Karim lamido Federal constituency in the 2023 General elections with 89 votes out of 93 delegates.

The primary election which took place in Lau the Headquarters of the lacal Government area was attended by Delegates and party loyalists amongst others.

Lau central primary school in Lau town, the administrative Headquarters of the local Government area, venue for the All progressive Grand Alliance APGA primary election for the House of Representatives representing Ardo kola Lau and Karim lamido Federal constituency.

Delegates from the affected local council areas lined up for the exercise which was conducted under a peaceful atmosphere which saw Mr. Ayuba Anthony Sale winning the election.

Mr Silas Shera is the returning officer for the exercise.

The Flag bearer thanked the delegates of the party for voting him and called on the people of the constituency to do same at the General elections to derive benefits of democracy.

Some stakeholders and members of the party threw their support behind the election of the APGA candidate in the 2023 election.

Fellow Tarabans, here comes the man with all the leadership qualities for Governor, come 2023.

Dr. Hilkiah Bubajoda Mafindi: A true son of the soil from the Jenjo extraction, who was born in Wurkun land, grew up in Mumuye land and married from the heartland of Kwararafa kingdom.

His early education started in the then Sudan United Mission Primary School Bambur in Karim Lamido Local Government Area from 1967 – 1970 for his First School Leaving Certificate.

· He was in Government Secondary School Jalingo from 1974 – 1979 where he obtained the General Certificate in Education (G. C.E.).

· Hilkiah Bubajoda attended the College of Preliminary Studies Yola between 1981 and 1983 for IJMB program and thereafter proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and graduated in 1986 with Bachelor’s Degree in History.

· He later enrolled for postgraduate studies in the University of Jos where he bagged his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. both in History between 1990 and 2016.

· He has attended many professional courses and trainings in diverse fields including Human Resource Management, Project Management and Entrepreneurship.

· If experience must count in governance, then Taraba state is already blessed, having a revered intellectual, a trusted technocrat and a celebrated public servant with the capacity to rewrite the history of governance in our dear state.

· His leadership prowess is traced back to his school days when he emerged as the National President, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

· The man who has left indelible footprints during his sojourn as a lecturer when he led as President, Senior Staff Association College of Education Hong and President ,Academic Staff Union College of Education Jalingo between 1988 and 1992.

· Dr. Hilkiah knows best, the workings of the Governor’s office, having served as:

· Personal Assistant to the Governor 1999 – 2001, and Senior Special Assis
