Why did “Twice as tall" win a Grammy Award and ‘African Giant' didn't?
Following Burna Boy's loss to Angelique Kidjo at the Grammy Awards in 2019,
‘Twice as Tall' challenged his aspirations and hopes.
Burna Boy relentless in his pursuit persisted on moving forward because he couldn't LEVEL UP until 2018 when he Gained global recognition and became less predictable, according to him his next move is guided by an indescribable force.
In the ‘African Gaint' album of 2019, Burna Boy dabbled into Six distinct African cultures.
In the song “Different" he defined themes of ‘Inequality, change and difficulties, a song which featured Damian Marley who pictured the importance of humanity amidst diverse societal difference.
This track became more interesting when Burna boy speaks about seeking alternative paths to truth and knowledge because History teachers now misleads students.
