🚨The father of Burnley star Lesley Ugochukwu, Orjiegbulam, has revealed that safety worries in Nigeria have played a major role in his decision not to play for the Super Eagles.

🧛🎙️: “It is his decision.

“He knows Nigeria is where he comes from, but for security reasons he prefers to remain where he is.

“I have lived in Europe for more than 25 years and I have never forgotten my language.

“That is what I implanted in my kids. Igbo was spoken at home, even used on the pitch.

“I taught my children Igbo language and it helped our communication especially in the midst of people.

“They speak Igbo as if they were born in Imo State.”

Are Igbos truly Marginalized?

Nigeria is not made up of only 3 ethnic groups.

Let's stop making it look like Nigeria. .is just Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani,and Igbo. No.

There are several other ethnic groups in Nigeria, whose cases are far worse,and they have not taken up arms against Nigeria.

The Civil war was not fought because Igbos were marginalised. That was not why Ojukwu went to war.

Infact,as at the point of that war,Igbos were in charge of Nigeria.

Igbo produced President. .Zik.

Produced Senate President and Acting President. .Nwafor Orizu.

The most senior Military officer, later to become the 1st Military Head of State. . .Aguiyi Ironsi.

And overtime,many Governors, Senate Presidents,Speakers of House of Representatives, Ministers etc.

So where is the so-called marginalisation?

In the comity of ethnic nationalities. . .Big and small ethnic groups are co- equal.

That's why for instance, in the UN,India with about 6 times Nigeria 's population, has the same vote with Nigeria and Benin Republic.

In Nigeria, no Tiv, Igala Ogoni,Igbira,Efik,Ibibio, etc has been President.

And even in the States they are,most have not been governor.

Yet,they have the same ethnic rights as Yoruba,Igbo,Hausa/ fulani.

So,however Igbos feel. . .their own is far better than many others in Nigeria.

Igbos should stop self pity. Igbos should stop seeing themselves as marginalised and carry themselves as equal stakeholders in Nigeria.

Igbos own Oil Wells. Own Banks. Own Airlines. Own several other businesses like other Nigerians or even more than other Nigerians. ...and one is discriminating against them.

Let's allow Nigeria breathe and take its rightful place in the Comity of Nations.

Even if you make Igbo today,a Country. .there will still be complaints of marginalisation amongst them.

The Conviction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu

Every serious freedom fighter the world over has as at one time or the other been sentenced to prison because no government of any country will just fold its hands and watch their country bulkanized by both internal and external factors.
Every freedom fighter knows that there are four things that faces him or her (1) either he is killed (2)or he goes into exile (3) either he is imprisoned just like nnamdi kanu(4)or he gets the freedom he is fighting for.
I knew the government would not release nnamdi kanu just like that...but the real hero in this case is not the Nigerian government but nnamdi kanu himself.this guy has shown that he really believes in his ideology to the extent that he is willing to die for it....
Such a man should be feared... nnamdi kanu had the opportunity to recant his utterances...he had the opportunity to plead for clemency...he had the opportunity to negotiate with the government and throw in the towel but he didn't...infact he is willing to go to prison... such human beings are very rare... I pray God protects him and I dare say that he is a real freedom fighter... after all what is not one of the greatest freedom fighters that has ever lived Malcolm X that said that the greatest price for freedom is Death.

Nnamdi kanu lawyers can file for an appeal but personally I think the only person that can release nnamdi kanu is president Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR through the instrument of a presidential pardon.

I rest my case.

Wike vs Naval Officer

Nyesom Wike is an uncouth and bad mannered politician that lacks decorum.
He descended so low in the matter between him and the Naval officer.
It's an affront to appoint such kind of persons into such sensitive positions of governance.
As a son of a Naval Military Officer,I have elementary knowledge of the workings of the military .Wike must understand how the military operates.

We are not surprise with the FCT Ministers conduct.He may have been influence by alcohol or drug.
We all witnessed to his bad and hot tempered manner when he publicly insulted a traditional ruler as governor of Rivers State.

The Naval Officer didn't send himself on that assignment.

Minister Wike receives my RED CARD.He has never been a Democrat.He has always been a law breaker,a 'confusionists' and a troublemaker.

Time will eventual catch up with him.

NUGA 2025:Live Update in Jos

The formal opening ceremony of the 27th Nigeria Universities Games(NUGA)2025 hosted by the University of Jos kick off today(Saturday)at the JT Useni Mini Stadium,Naraguta Campus permanent site.
The event attracted universities from different states of the federation including dignitaries and other visitors to the institution.

The executive governor of Plateau State Bar.Caleb Mutfwang accompanied by the Ondo State governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Nasarawa State deputy governor Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe were among the high profile dignitaries that grace the fiesta amidst pomp and pageantry.
