According to information available from the camp of the former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, the Mbaavarakaa District Hall is the fifth hall to be commissioned.

Is that how due process has not been following and he has not been carrying stakeholders along? Has the former Speaker ever commissioned an uncompleted project?

During the APC membership revalidation exercise in February, Dajoh visited Mbaavarakaa and clearly announced that the hall would be commissioned in March.

Governor Hyacinth Alia should not bring violence to Jemgbagh. This should serve as a warning. Who told Alia that he must fight everyone before people at the grassroots will support him?

It is even more shameful that some elders, people who should ordinarily be mediating in times of disagreement, were hired to stage a Facebook press conference today. Such actions are disappointing and only serve to create unnecessary division and disharmony.

Gov Alia is doing very stupid politics. He dragged traditional rulers into politics. Imagine a very refined and intelligent Traditional Ruler like Bem Gbakorun had to issue a political statement

Politics should not overshadow development. And so, here is a perfect gentleman for the job Man of results, Dr Agune

You don't have an idea of the violence and trauma if Herdsmen have not appeared one day, kill your family members, burnt your houses, your belongings, foodstuffs and everything you ever had

You don't understand the effects when herdsmen prevent a farmer from going to the farm for a farming season.

So you don't understand the anger, fear and anguish at the villages.

You come online and downplay it or hate people who don't talk about it

If the Security vote is actually N5 Billion, then we should all forget, the killings will not end

Gov Alia can't choose to end killings and stop receiving N5 Billion

He will continue to give out press release and collect N5 Billion monthly

A company appoints Solomon Iorpev as its CEO.

He wants focus on producing quality products for customers.

He refuses to pay taxes to the government,
He ignores dividends for shareholders, and
He neglects corporate social responsibility to the host community.

The government moves to seal the company for tax violations.
The shareholders, who invested their capital, begin plans to withdraw their investments.
The host community threatens to vandalize company property because they feel neglected.

The few customers who are privileged to taste the company’s products says loudly that Solomon Iorpev must remain the CEO

But the question is simple:

Should the shareholders who risked their capital have no interest other than producing quality products for customers alone?

A company survives only when all stakeholders are considered — the government, shareholders, host community, and customers.

Case of APC as a Party

Administration of Gov Alia is not favourable to Turan.

The Kwande Chairmanship belongs to the Turan, Gov Alia denied them right from when he appointed a caretaker Chairman to the elected Chairman

Each time Fulani kills people in Turan, everyone will condemn and move on

Then Fulani will come another day, they will condemn in strong terms on Facebook and move on

Veteran Journalist, Pascal Oko's reply to VP Shettima's Aide, Ismail Tope

It is very convenient that a lesser politically grounded person in Oyetola of Osun is viewed by Ismail in his analysis of events in that state as a potential threat to Adeleke's second term. While a very well grounded person as Akume looks like a push over by Ismail for definite defeat by governor Alia.

Also very convenient is the deliberate gloss over the fact that Benue APC is the only APC state in Nigeria to depart from the party's directives that all party Exco be retained, except in cases of death or party officials that decamped.

And one is inclined to ask:
why is it that calls for peace in Benue APC by Vice President Shettima and this writer is directed to Akume instead of to the governor?
Between Akume and the governor, who's actions is rocking the APC boat?

As a journalist who should not be excused of forgetting so easily, the genesis of the governor's disrespect for the APC and Akume started immediately upon his inauguration. Positions shared to individuals by the party in the state assembly were all upturned by the governor. All commissioners, Special Advisers were all appointed by the governor to the exclusion of Akume and the party. When did the governor joined the party to undertake such sweeping decisions without regard to those who were there long before his emergence?

May it be noted that Ambode of Lagos performed very well in his first term, but was denied a second term ticket. Curiously that same man who denied Ambode a second term ticket is now in A*o Rock and a long term ally to Akume as both were governors in 1999 to 2007. Akume also was amongst the first to accept and anchor Tinubu's ACN up North. A party that later metamorphosed to the APC.

Unfortunately for Governor Alia, the current surge in the fold of the APC by most governors has considerably whittle down his presence, influence and impact in the APC.
His future in another political party is even more bleak as he lacks the structure and the backing of strong foot soldiers to drive any meaningful success.

Both Suswam and Ortom were very much on ground for about twelve years or more to fight Akume. And much as they fought and won, they left the fight with bloody noses.
Can a political neophyte like governor Alia survive such a fight?

“You’re the Governor; you can do anything. You have the power to collect the party—even the so-called founders can go to hell.”

This is what they are telling the Governor. The reasons are simple:

If there is true unity, Ternenge Moses would not be the leader in Kwande, there are far more experienced party heavyweights there.

If there is unity, Asema Achado would lead in Gwer East, Titus Zam in Gwer West, Tarzoor can't be Leader in Makurdi, and Livinus Tsar can't be Leader in Kanshisha. James Tor can't be the leader in Gboko

So, they prefer divisions and factions, not for the Governor’s interest, not for the development of Benue, but to preserve their own power.

What is coming for the Governor is more than him. He is the one contesting for statewide elections, and these internal battles will have severe consequences.

To get an APC ticket is a struggle but winning is a daunting challenge

Keep the fight!!

Sen. Jack Tilley Gyado, a bonafide Kunav man took Fr Hyacinth Alia to every stakeholder and pleaded for the Governorship to go to Kunav

Kwande was also seriously consulting for Governorship.

Sen. Gyado rallied stakeholders, being a versatile politician, he went round the state begging for Alia's ticket

Today, Gov Hyacinth Alia abandoned him, disparaged him, embarrassed and insulted him
