FANAFA CAUTIONS BENUE LINKS DRIVERS, LOADERS AGAINST OVERCHARGING PASSENGERS AT ADIKPO.

The Transformative General Manager of Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Comr. Alexander Aondohemba FANAFA, KSM, MNIM, Hur Or U Kunav Youth Worldwide, has cautioned drivers and loaders operating at the Benue Links Park in Adikpo, Kwande Local Government Area, against the excessive charges on passengers' goods.
Comr. FANAFA gave the warning yesterday 13th September, 2026, during an interaction with drivers, loaders and passengers at the Benue Links Park in Adikpo, where he emphasized the need for fairness, discipline, professionalism and customer-friendly service delivery across the company's operations.
The Benue Links helmsman particularly appealed to drivers and loaders to show greater consideration to passengers, especially students and other travellers who depend on public transportation to convey foodstuffs and other essential items from one location to another.
According to him, passengers are the customers and major stakeholders of the company, and therefore deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and understanding. He stressed that unnecessary or arbitrary charges could discourage passengers from patronizing the company and undermine the confidence that the management has worked hard to build.
Comr. FANAFA urged drivers and loaders to see their responsibilities beyond merely transporting passengers and their belongings, but as part of the broader service mandate of Benue Links Nigeria Limited. He maintained that every passenger should be given value for their money through affordable, safe, reliable and courteous transportation services.
He also commended passengers in Adikpo and other parts of the state for their continued patronage of Benue Links Nigeria Limited, describing their support as a major encouragement to the management and staff of the company.
The General Manager assured passengers that the management under his leadership would continue to introduce measures aimed at improving their comfort, safety and overall travelling experience. He reiterated his commitment to making Benue Links a more efficient, customer-oriented and dependable transportation company.
Comr. FANAFA further appealed to the people of Benue State to continue supporting the administration of the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, particularly in its efforts towards sustainable development and improved transportation services across the state.
He also called on the people to support the Governor's re-election bid in 2027, stressing that continuity of people-oriented policies and development programmes would provide an opportunity for the administration's achievements to be consolidated and sustained.
Responding, some of the passengers expressed appreciation to the Benue Links management for its responsiveness to their concerns and for the various initiatives aimed at improving transportation services.
They particularly commended Comr. FANAFA for his accessibility and willingness to listen to passengers and transport workers, describing his intervention as a demonstration of leadership that puts the welfare of customers at the centre of management.
