Benue APC fracas

Tinubu Directs Camps to Reconcile.

In what appears to be a last minute opportunity for Benue APC, President Tinubu has directed the SGF to recovene and chair a meeting for the State Chapter of APC on Thursday this week.

The Benue State Governor together with the SGF met Mr President at the villa in a short meeting where this directive was issued.

According to sources, the SGF had demanded the following...

1. Senatororial Ticket for Zone A and Zone B
2. Assembly tickets for 20 house of assembly seats
3. House of Reps tickets for 10 federal constituencies.
4. A restructuring of the State APC EXCO with his person as organising secretary.

The President frowned at tje neglect of his earlier directive when he visited the state and requested in government for a committee to be set up and that the committee should meet him in Abuja.

The Governor of the State has refused the demands of the SGF but the President has immediately tasked the two to meet and bring whatever resolution to him for a final decision

On Thursday, the issue of Benue is to be resolved.

It is either Akume will have his way or Governor Alia will damn the consequences and choose to disobey whatever that will be the outcome.

President Tinubu will decide for Benue State.
