THE CHURCH AND THE STAR BOY OF THE MOMENT//PASTOR MANASSEH KINGS ALIAH.
Meet the star boy of the moment.
A young man, gifted, creative, and full of potential. He takes Christian songs and transforms them into amazing beats that inspire, excite, and capture attention. His talent is undeniable.
But here is the question: Where is the Church?
Too often, we watch gifted young people struggle alone. We celebrate them from a distance but fail to support, mentor, encourage, and invest in them. Then, when the world discovers them, sponsors them, and gives them a platform, we begin to complain that they are no longer using their gifts for God.
The truth is simple: every gift must be watered before it can flourish.
Every talent must be nurtured before it can become impactful.
Whoever fertilizes a gift often influences the direction of that gift.
Whoever believes in a young person, supports them, and stands with them in their early days becomes part of their journey.
If the Church embraces this young boy, encourages him, and helps him grow, his gift can become a powerful tool for worship, praise, and kingdom impact.
But if the world is the only one willing to invest in him, should we be surprised when his gift eventually serves the interests of those who supported him?
This is not merely about one young Boy. It is about a generation of gifted youths sitting quietly in our churches, waiting for someone to notice them, believe in them, and give them an opportunity.
The matter is now on the table of the Church.
Will we ignore these gifts until the world discovers them?
Or will we recognize them early, nurture them faithfully, and raise them for the glory of God?
The future of many gifts may depend on our answer.
