GOV. ALIA PAYS LAST RESPECT TO MRS. ROSEMARY GAADI.

The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia paid his last respect to his Aunty Mrs. Rosemary Shagu GAADI who passed on few days ago was finally laid to rest at her hometown Mbayongo in Vandeikya LGA of Benue State.
While delivering his funeral oration, Gov. Alia said it was a moment of total grief for him and the entire family of Gaadi over the loss of Mrs. Rose, describing her as a woman of unwavering faith and remarkable benevolence.
The Governor recounted her good deeds and invaluable contribution to the growth and development of her family and humanity at large, acknowledging also her various efforts before, during and after the election that brought him into power.
Gov. Alia sends his heartfelt condolences to her immediate family, urging them to take solace in God, who alone is the source of consolation, while also praying the good Lord to grant the deceased eternal rest.
In his remarks, the Vicar general of Gboko Diocese, Very Revd. Fr. Linus Huabo appreciates Gov. Alia for standing with the family in their moment of grief, having defiled the rains to be in attendance by himself. He charged the lay faithful to be ambassadors of peace and onenes.
Earlier in his homily, Rev. Fr. Christian Angurum adominish all Christians to reflect on their daily lives as they continue their earthly sojourn, emphasising on good relationship with God and humanity. He called on the family of the deceased to remain steadfast in God, stressing that death was only the way to eternity.
Hon. Dennis Guda, the Executive Chairman of Vandeikya LGA, Chairman APC elders council, Mr. Iorpuu Baaki both made their separate remarks.
Gov. Alia was accompanied by other top Government officials namely; the Special Adviser on Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Denen Aondoakaa, the Managing Director, Benue Investment Property Company Limited, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha Jr. , former House of representative member, Hon. Chief Mrs. Dorothy Mato, Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture and Technology, High, Prof. Qristuberg Amua.
Others were the Deputy Chairman of Vandeikya LGA, Mrs. Janet Orukuna, the president general of Kunav Development Association, Deacon Emmanuel Tor Yaji, Dr. Solomon Akperekpe , amongst others.
