GHANAIANS SHUT DOWN EMMIWUKS’ ROUTE WITH LOVE AND SELFIES🕵️🕵️

Emmiwuks, Nigeria’s inspirational cyclist riding from Nigeria to the United States, was unable to meet his movement target today—not because of fatigue, but due to the overwhelming love from Ghanaians.

From Tema to Accra, a short distance by road, has become an extended journey. At every point along the way, enthusiastic Ghanaians are stopping him to show support, take selfies, and cheer him on. The support has been so massive that Emmiwuks himself confessed he’s been more celebrated in Ghana than in any other country since he began this historic mission.

In his words:

> “From Tema to Accra is just a few kilometers, but the journey is taking longer than expected and it’s for a beautiful reason 😁. Every stop along the way, people are recognizing me, following the journey, and waiting for me to arrive next stop just to say hello or take a picture. It honestly feels like this mission is being celebrated more here in Ghana 🤣🙌🏾.”

He added:

> “Thank you, Ghana 🇬🇭. Naija no dey carry last 🇳🇬❤️”

As he slowly rides into Accra, it's clear this journey is now more than a cycling adventure—it's a celebration of African unity.

BENUE SUBEB TRAINS OVER 600 TEACHERS TO REVIVE CRAFT AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS IN BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOLS.

As part of efforts to revive Craft and Vocational skills in Basic education Schools , the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), has commenced capacity-building of teachers aimed at reviving crafts and vocational skills in schools ahead of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The training, tagged "Reviving Craft and Vocational Skills in Basic Schools in Benue State", took place simultaneously across the three senatorial Zones of the State—Adikpo in Kwande LGA for Zone A, Makurdi for Zone B, and Otukpo for Zone C—and trained over 600 teachers.

Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Chairman, Benue SUBEB, Dr. Grace Adagba, reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to promoting hands-on learning and practical education in Basic schools.

“In line with Governor Alia 's commitment to reviving practical skills and promoting self-reliance among our Learners, we have declared Wednesdays by 12 noon as Craft Day in all Basic Schools across Benue State,” she stated. “This dedicated time allows Learners to engage in hands-on activities that foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and vocational competence.

“To effectively implement this initiative, we are equipping our teachers with the necessary knowledge in crafts such as bead making, basket weaving, soap making, and more. By empowering our Teachers, we are laying a solid foundation for functional education that prepares our children not just for exams but for real life.”

Training facilitators, Mr. Msughter Ikyugba and Mrs. Margaret Agber, noted that the participating teachers were exposed to practical skills in bead making, basket weaving, soap production, broom making, and knitting. They emphasized that such training would enable teachers to transfer entrepreneurial skills to learners, fostering financial independence and creativity from a young age.

Participants, Andrew Aondover Apir and Iorliam Stephanie, expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and the SUBEB Executive Chairman for the laudable initiative. They said the training has not only equipped them to better nurture vocational skills in Learners but also empowered them with practical skills to supplement their incomes.

They commended the Alia-led administration for prioritizing teacher welfare and reaffirmed their commitment to delivering quality education in their classrooms.

CONFUSION AS THEATRE ARTS INDUCTION AT REV. FR. MOSES ORSHIO ADASU UNIVERSITY MISTAKEN FOR CULT ACTIVITY

The Theatre Arts Department of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University has conducted an induction ceremony for its newly admitted students, an event described as a showcase of "the real taste of arts and creativity."

The ceremony, which involved students dressed in dramatic costumes and engaging in symbolic performances, sparked mixed reactions online. While some congratulated the newly inducted thespians, others mistook the event for cult-related activity due to the appearance and nature of the photos circulated on social media.

The situation has raised discussions on the thin line between cultural or theatrical displays and cultism in Nigerian universities, especially when viewed by the public without proper context.

The university and the department are yet to officially comment on the incident or public reaction.

ZAKI BIAM YAM MARKET: WORLD’S LARGEST YAM MARKET STANDS TALL IN BENUE STATE 🌍

Zaki Biam, a bustling town in Benue State, Nigeria, is proudly home to the largest yam market in the world — a thriving center of commerce and culture that showcases the strength and resilience of the Benue people.

Nigeria 🇳🇬 leads the world in yam production, contributing about 70% of global output, and Zaki Biam sits at the very heart of this achievement. Every day, the market witnesses the exchange of millions of yam tubers, drawing traders, exporters, and buyers from across Nigeria and West Africa.

Despite never meeting him before, these cyclists stood in solidarity, pedaling alongside him in a powerful show of unity, love, and cross-border brotherhood.

“This is more than support,” Emmiwuks shared emotionally. “This is love, unity, and brotherhood across borders. Africa is indeed one family.”

The world should demand from this man --
Why Fulani terrorists have found a safe haven in his state; why they move in hundreds of motorbikes in his state carrying sophisticated weapons in broad daylight; why they move day and night in the state freely and unaccosted, making the state look ungoverned; why the state is a convenient launch pad for their genocidal attacks in Benue, and why they retreat to Nasarawa state after every terror attack in Benue state.

His explanation, on Channels TV "Politics Today," a few weeks ago that they only passed through Nasarawa State, similar to how one passes through Ogun to get to Lagos, is the most nonsensically skewed analogy.

Abdullahi Sule should tell us more!
