Senator representing Northern Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello, has distributed Ramadan relief materials to the people of Niger State.
The items provided by the senator include rice, millet, milk, and sugar.
The former Chief of Staff to the Niger State Government, Ibrahim Balarabe (Santurakin Kagara), led the distribution of the materials in Zone A and Zone B of the state, while the senator’s Special Adviser supervised the distribution in Zone C (Northern Niger State).

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago on Friday joined hundreds of mourners for the funeral prayer of the late Alhaji Suleiman Umar Sanda, father of Abubakar Suleiman Gomna, who represents the Bosso Constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly and serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Works.
The funeral prayer, led by Isah Jibrin Imam, was held at the Minna Central Mosque in Minna.
Governor Bago eulogized the deceased, describing him as a selfless, disciplined, and humble individual who lived a life worthy of emulation. He prayed that Allah grants Alhaji Suleiman Umar Sanda eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and gives the bereaved family and well-wishers the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
In his remarks, Arch. Abubakar Suleiman Gomna expressed profound sadness over his father’s passing, noting that a great void has been created that “can only be filled by Allah.

The Governor was accompanied by members of the State Executive Council and lawmakers from the State Assembly.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alhaji Suleman Umar Sanda Baden Shako, father of Honourable Suleman Abubakar Gomna, the distinguished member representing Bosso Local Government Area in the Niger State House of Assembly.
Alhaji Suleman Umar Sanda Baden Shako passed away after a brief illness. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, and grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Janazah (burial) prayer is scheduled for 2:00 PM today at the Minna Central Mosque, in Minna, Niger State.

May Allah grant the family the strength and patience to bear this great loss. Ameen.
