Today is Scripture Sunday! Lynne has a meaningful story attached to this art in her office. One of her former student's fiancé makes Chinese art. Years ago, he asked her what her favorite bible verse was, so that he could make this sign specifically for her. It has been hanging up in her office since 2011, and Lynne says every time she looks at it, she thinks of her former student, Miao. The sign says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

𝘊𝘌𝘍 of North Carolina has been busy the last few months throwing Good News Spectaculars all over the state! State Director, Bob Fowler, explains what the day of fun entails, “This family fun day features something for everyone—a wide variety of inflatables, games, live stage entertainment, puppets, and refreshments—all at no cost. Children love the giant slides, bounce houses, bungee run, and the exciting obstacle course. Most importantly, everyone has the opportunity to hear “The Greatest Story Ever Told” when they visit The Wordless Book room and hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

Bob says the effort it takes to put on this event is worth it.

“The benefits of a Spectacular make them worthwhile, although they take lots of work. Other states noticed the impact and started their own Spectaculars. They have seen how this event reaches children they wouldn’t reach otherwise. One state reached more children at their first Spectacular than they had in a year during other ministries. This one-day event brings lots of people together and children line up so we can share Jesus with them. The greatest benefit: many children receive Jesus as Savior.”

We are so engrossed in our children's education and only very few people are interested in helping their child know Christ. In Good News Clubs we teach the child to know Christ as his/her saviour from sin. Locate a Good News Club close to you and let your child attend. Let's show them Christ now that they are children to grow knowing Christ.
