In Lagos, dreams don’t sleep — they hustle.
Walk through Computer Village, and you’ll feel it — the pulse of ambition echoing between the walls of Tecno, Infinix, Canon, and Apple ads. Behind every screen sold is a story, behind every hustle, a hope.

During and after COVID, many Lagosians learned what survival truly meant — juggling two, sometimes three hustles, just to stay afloat.
Because in this city, one income rarely carries the weight of one life.

Fast forward to today…
The lights are still on, the noise still loud, but the questions remain the same -
How are Lagosians really doing in this economy?

It’s a new week — full of decisions waiting to be made… and actions waiting to be taken. 💭

Just like the five frogs on a log — deciding to jump isn’t the same as actually jumping. Many times, we stay “on the log” of comfort, fear, or overthinking.

This week, choose doing over deciding.
Take that small bold step, start the project, send the message, apply for that opportunity, tell your story.

Because progress doesn’t come from decision alone - it comes from movement.

What’s one thing you’ve been “deciding” to do but haven’t started yet? Share with us in the comments let’s cheer you on! 👇

In the last two weeks, we’ve been sharing clips from stories and experiences of Lagosians in tech and business — moments captured during and after the COVID period.

When you walk into Computer Village, the energy hits you before the noise does — bright ads from Tecno, Infinix, Canon, and Apple, and hundreds of young people chasing what we call the Lagos Dream.

Here, hustle isn’t a buzzword; it’s survival.
One person, many trades. Fixing phones, selling chargers, reselling accessories - all to make ends meet. Because in Lagos, one job is never enough.

But behind the motion is a hard truth:
💭 The cost of living keeps climbing.
💭 Housing is almost out of reach.
💭 Resilience has become routine.

Still, the Lagos spirit lives on - bold, restless, and hopeful.

What’s the fate of many Lagosians now, in this economy? The story continues…

Every journey begins with one step… and for these children, it begins with a backpack, a uniform, and the chance to sit in class with pride. 😊

So far, 22 children have taken that step — their smiles say it all. But 78 more are still waiting for that same chance to learn, dream, and grow.

Your support has carried 22% of our children back to school — dressed in confidence and possibility. Yet 78% are still waiting for their turn to shine.

Together, we can turn waiting into winning.
Let’s help every child walk through those school gates with hope.

Success is never owned — it’s rented. And the rent is due every day.

What does this mean?

Success isn’t a one-time achievement. It’s not something you lock in and keep forever.

It must be earned daily through discipline, effort, and consistency.

Every day you show up, work hard, and stay committed — you’re paying the price for tomorrow’s success.

So this week, ask yourself: Am I paying today’s rent?

Exactly one month ago, The Peak Story launched the 2025 Back to School Campaign Ceremony — a movement to restore hope and education for children who had stayed home due to lack of uniforms and learning materials and finance.

Last week, our first group of students proudly resumed school — dressed in their new uniforms, carrying their school bags, and armed with writing materials that tell a story of fresh beginnings.

But we’re not done yet.
Our mission is to take 100 children back to school.
So far, 22 have resumed — and 78 more are waiting for their chance.

Watch out for more updates 😊

Together, we can rewrite their future.

The Law of Diminishing Intent says: The longer you wait to do something you should do now, the greater the odds you’ll never do it.

Intent without action loses its power. 💡
That’s why ex*****on beats procrastination — always.

This week, don’t just plan. Don’t just intend. Act. 🚀

Nigeria’s story is one of courage, sacrifice, and unity.
From the bold steps of Herbert Macaulay to the vision of Azikiwe, Awolowo, Bello, Enahoro, and many others — our independence was fought for, not handed down.

On October 1st, 1960, the Green-White-Green replaced the Union Jack. Nigeria became free.

Today, we hold the torch. Let’s honor their struggle by shaping the Nigeria they dreamed of💡

Stop waiting for the perfect moment — it may never come.

Greatness is built when you start where you are and make every moment count.

This week, don’t wait for time to be right.
Make it right. Make it yours.

Here’s to progress, not perfection. 🚀
