Hadith of the day
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one blowing the bellows. The owner of musk would either offer you some free of charge, or you would buy it from him, or you smell its pleasant fragrance; and as for the one who blows the bellows (i.e., the blacksmith), he either burns your clothes or you smell a repugnant smell". [Al- Bukhari and Muslim, riyad as-salihin 363]

At-Taghabun 64:15

إِنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 27th day of Swafar (Saturday 26th October, 2019).
*_MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IN THE QURAN AND SUNNAH_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

Brotherhood in Islam is a comprehensive concept that is based upon good character with others, treating others the way we want to be treated, and uniting together upon common values. It has three levels of degree: religion, family, and humanity. Each of these levels has a set of rights and duties that a Muslim must uphold with others.

The strongest level of brotherhood is the sense of community, friendship, and common purpose in Islam for the sake of ALLAH. At this level, the believers work together towards fulfilling the goals of the religion and without living out its divine values.
Allah says:
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Surat al-Hujurat 49:10
And Allah says:
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا
Hold firmly to the rope of ALLAH all together and do not become divided. Suurat Aali Imran 3:103. Unfortunately today, we are divided and hate each other even because of political parties we follow. We fight and hate each other because two kaafirs are convincing us to vote for them to cause corruption on the land of ALLAH with no respect to the Sharia or rules of ALLAH. We have created our own suffering as such we must stop sympathising with the suffering Muslims are going through and step up our efforts to get Muslims to unite and love each other for ALLAH and fill up our masjids each day enjoying good and forbidden evil if we want ALLAH to have mercy on us. If we aim for ALLAHs MERCY to ourselves, families and communities then let's make an effort to reconcile within these societies and get united towards acts of worship and avoid division at all cost else ALLAH will allow the ku

_PRESCRIPTION FOR PIETY_. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem

ALLAH (The Most Great) says in Aayah 119 of Surah Taubah: “O Believers fear ALLAH and be with those who are truthful.” To fear ALLAH means to avoid sins at all cost and to make sincere repentance and seek forgiveness from ALLAH all the time. Along with fearing ALLAH, this Aayah also commands to be with the people who are truthful, i.e., who always speak the truth, who at heart are truthful and whose actions reflect their belief in truth.

A person, who is living in an amoral, immoral or unethical environment, may ask a question: “How to build a barrier against sins and be safe from their influence.” Listen to what Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) once said before I answer this question. He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said that a time will come when holding on to Faith will be as difficult as holding a burning coal in hand. Most probably we are living in such a time period. It requires moral courage and strength of character to adhere to our faith in the current environment.

Look around and you will find that vices are creeping in corroding the moral fabric of our society. Falsehood has become an art form. Immodesty is called fashion and indecency is in vogue. Corruption is rampant. The epidemic is global. Gambling is Halaal now, fornication has become Halaal, stealing has become Halaal, disobedience to parents has become Halaal, Riba, most dangerous act has become Halaal but we still claim we are believers isn't it? Some even complain about ALLAH to others that life has become unbearable without blaming ourselves of making these evil deeds Halaal in our environment. Those who fear ALLAH (The Most Merciful) and continue to struggle to uphold their faith and character under such adverse circumstances, The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) had given us good tidings for paradise. ALHAMDULILLAH.

Praise be to Allaah. Ma********on (for both men and women) is haraam (forbidden) in Islam based on the following evidence: First from the Quraan: Imam Shafii stated that ma********on is forbidden based on the following verses from the Quraan (interpretation of the meaning): "And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." 23.5-7 Here the verses are clear in forbidding all illegal sexual acts (including ma********on) except for the wives or that their right hand possess. And whoever seeks beyond that is the transgressor. "And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His bounty." 24.33. This verse also clearly orders whoever does not have the financial means to marry to keep himself chaste and be patient in facing temptations (including ma********on) until Allah enriches them of His bounty. Secondly, from the sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him): Abdullaah ibn Masood said, "We were with the Prophet while we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allaahs Messenger said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual in*******se etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power." Bukhari:5066. The hadeeth orders men who are not able to marry to fast despite the hardship encountered in doing so, and not to ma******te despite the ease with which it can be done. There are additional evidences that can be cited to support this ruling on ma********on, but due to the limited space we will not go through them here. Allaah knows what is best and most correct.

Lasting advice to suffice the muslims till the day of Qiyamah.

Attaining Allah's pleasure and Jannah is done through following Muhammad ﷺ and his Sunnah and the Sahaba رضي الله عنهم and their Students and the Students after them, and how they understood and acted upon the Qur'an.
_
Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله once said There are angels building your mansions in Jannah when you do Dhikr of Allah, and if you stop then they stop building.
-سبحان الله

Reflect, If your Salah which is the foundation of your Deen is weak, then wouldn't your foundation for that Mansion in Jannah be weak? If it is non-existent! Then how will that mansion in Jannah stand?
And the Imaan which will enter anyone into Jannah, if it is weak, wouldn't his standing with Allah be lower?

If it is strong, wouldn't his Standing with Allah be high? .
Reflect on the words of Allah and receive guidance from them. Allah has sent it down for this purpose.

And Repent continuously, as Prophet ﷺ said:
_“All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best sinners are those who repent.”_
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2499, Grade:Sahih]
_
And as for Jannah
Allah says

لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ

_For the likes of this, let the workers, work._
[37:61]
And in another Surah,

-وَ فِى ذٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُوْنَ

_And for that (Jannah) let the competitors compete, (let the aspirers aspire)._
[83:26]

Ya Ibn Adam! Follow this beautiful advice, submit and gain success in the Dunya and the Akhirah.
Start now! Because who could pass up an opportunity such as this?
_
May Allah make us from amongst As Sabiqoon, and Al Muflihoon, and As Salihoon, and At Tayyiboon, and Al Muttaqoon.

-آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
