12 INNOCENT KADUNA CITIZENS SLAUGHTERED IN PLATEAU, AND NOBODY HAS BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

What kind of country allows its citizens to be murdered in cold blood on a journey to a wedding and still acts like nothing happened?

Twelve innocent people from Kaduna State were butchered in Mangu Local Government of Plateau State. Eleven others were badly injured, all while on their way to celebrate love and family. These were not criminals, not soldiers just regular Nigerians, like you and me, on the road. Now they’re gone. For what? For whose war?

This is not just a Plateau issue. This is not just a Kaduna issue. This is a national disgrace.

Every single Nigerian should be angry. Where were the security agencies? Why has nobody been arrested? Why are non-state actors allowed to run wild, killing at will, while leaders issue weak press statements?

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has condemned the attack in the strongest terms and called for justice and he’s right. He says he will follow the case personally, and we hope it won't be business as usual.

To the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, now is the time to rise. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Now. Take charge, take responsibility, and let justice be swift and loud.

Let this be a turning point. Enough of the bloodshed. Enough of the impunity. We need action not condolences.

To the people of Kaduna State: Remain calm. But do not be silent.

🕯️Our hearts are with the families of the victims. May the souls of the departed rest in peace. And may those responsible never know peace until they face justice.

I Condemn the Mangu Tragedy and Demand Accountability from the Nigeria Police Force

I strongly condemn the horrifying and senseless attack carried out by some youths in the Mangu area of Plateau State, which led to the brutal assault on an Ahmadu Bello University bus on its way to a wedding. This heartbreaking incident claimed the lives of nine innocent Nigerians and left many others severely injured. It is a tragedy that shakes the conscience of our nation.

Beyond the grief, this incident exposes once again the recurring failure of our security agencies, particularly the Nigeria Police Force, to act promptly and decisively in times of crisis. The consistent pattern of negligence and incompetence has made our roads and communities unsafe.

It is painfully clear that the current Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has grossly failed in his constitutional duty to protect lives and property. From the violence in Yelwata in Benue State to this recent bloodshed in Mangu in Plateau State, his inability to provide leadership and ensure proactive policing has resulted in the loss of innocent lives.

At this point, it is not just a demand , it is a necessity. Kayode Egbetokun must resign or be removed from office immediately. The security of Nigerians cannot be entrusted to someone whose time in office has been marked by inaction, indifference, and incompetence.

We demand justice for the victims, and we call for urgent reforms in our policing system. Our nation deserves a security structure that works, not one that watches as lives are wasted.

Led by Honourable Commissioner Kwanta Yakubu, the Nasarawa team met with Minister Ayodele Olawande Wisdom to push for stronger support on youth focused projects.
