I saw my neighbor who gave birth last week through CS in our street market today buying foodstuff, I was surprised to see her because she told me few days ago that her mom was around so I asked about her mom, I also asked who is with her baby.

She told me that her mom left this morning and that she and her husband are tired of begging her to stay because the baby has jaundice and needs a deep watch.

This woman only stayed for 5 days.

According to my neighbor, she heard her mom talking to her stepdad on the phone and the man was commanding her to come back today that his food in the freezer had finished so she lied to her daughter and Inlaw that she wanted to go and plant her yam. Her Inlaw begged to pay people to plant it for her but she insisted on planting it by herself because she doesn't like people to plant for her.

Her daughter and her grandchild have been crying. Her daughter is 23 years and this is her first child. Her husband drove around the neighborhood looking for an urgent ages nanny to employ because he will be going back offshore on Tuesday and needs to settle his family.

The lady told me that her mom was placed on a monthly allowance of 180k by her husband for her upkeep. She added that her mom and her new husband used to depend on the allowance every month immediately they entered a new month, her mom would be disturbing her husband for the allowance. Sometimes her husband will give her above the 180k.

Last year September, she demanded 700k from her husband, that she want to start a garri business and her husband supported her with 750k.
Her husband is the one taking care of her hospital bills and some other expenses.

So today, her husband promised to remove her mom from his payroll, he said that her mom is heartless and does not care about his family.

He wants her new husband to take care of her.

Her husband said that he noticed her bad character during their traditional marriage, how her mom didn't care what was going on if not for his wife's uncle.

This same uncle and his wife single-handedly sponsored his wife through secondary and university when her mom was busy with her new lover and abandoned her three children from her first marriage.

He said that his wife will stop visiting her mom for now and he just removed her mom's name from his monthly allowance today.

My neighbor is sad but doesn't know if she should beg her husband or not because her mother doesn't care about them.

The funny thing here is that the first day she gave birth her mother-in-law was the first to call if she should come that same day but her son told her that his mother-in-law was on her way coming so his mom traveled back to the North.

Now he doesn't know how to tell his mom that his mother-in-law just left after 5 days.

Ma I need your advice since I got pregnant I have been so lazy that sometimes I stay up to two days before bathing at first my husband was not against it but now he is now complaining.. my husband said I smell down there😭😭 for the past two weeks now my husband has not touch me.
