So here i was one faithfully evening, not really feeling very ok and trying to sort myself out you know, then came a very familiar voice and said to me
"Babe which cartoon will you like to see so i can download it for you?"
and just like that ooooh, the butterflies in my belle started dancing
yes yes, i know
i know I am an old woman who loves cartoon so much, some times people ask me, "so this is how you will be draging cartoon with your Children?"
toor, me i dont know what to do about it again oooh..you can help me if you can
Okay so back to what i was saying,
that was how hubby downloaded one for me and i was so exicted, i dont just watch cartoon for smiles alone, i also learn from it but people dont believe me when i say so, but any ways..
So I saw this particular one (Turning Red)
it was quite interesting, but the lesson is something i wouldn't want my kids to adapt.
As parents, except you wont allow your kids watch cartoons at all, please sit and see these things before your kids do, because some of us once there is no voilent or adults scenes, then its ok.
But have you tried to pay attention to the lessons these cartoons carry, because why on earth will REBELLION TO PARENTS be celebrated as an inner strength that needs to be unlocked...

Here she was actually talking about them going to see some boys she and her friends where crusing on..haah, please ooh, so a girl becomes a woman when she finally meets her cursh??
One of her friends even called the guy her "soul mate", the other was telling her unborn children that they will "meet their dad" at 13years old ooh,
they already planned Engagement...aah
my mouth was just opened throughout i couldn't even scream at the things i heard
Then again she said "I am 13years old, so i am officially an adult, which means i can make my own choices of where ever i want to go, and be back whenever i want"...o my God!
Lets leave meimei first, the one that even suprised me was her Dad, telling the little daughter, in his words:
"everyone has a demon inside, and the plan is not to silence the demon, but to make room for it"
haaaaah like make room for inner demon as in for the demon to gain expression haaaah GOD abeg ooh..
And then at the end of it all, CORRECTION was portrayed to be something not needed in the life of a child, the same correction that even the Bible upholds......
Please parents, let your definition of something bad not just be
what you are seeing, but also what you hear, because the kids hear them too and they hear them very loud and clear, and to them if my parents allow me to watch such, then everything is fine.

What we allow access into them is what shapes us!
meimei was the hero in this story and you know the way the plots go; everyone just ends up loving the hero.
Meimei was celebrated for being a rebel to her parents and getting whatever she wants...
A child who is exposed to these type of contents will end up being programmed and mentored in the wrong direction (without your knowledge)
