The Tallest Yam Pyramid In The World Unveiled In Nnewi ,Anambra State During Afịa-Ọlụ Nnewi Festival 2025

History was made in the industrial and commercial city of Nnewi in Anambra state on the 27th of August 2025, as Life Lager Nigeria unveiled the tallest yam pyramid in world at the opening ceremony of Afịa-Ọlụ Nnewi New Yam Festival 2025.

The yam pyramid which is 16 feet tall and containing a total of 1210 tubers of yam is a symbol of hardwork and bountiful harvest

Yam is a very significant crop in Igbo culture and different Igbo delicacies are made from it.

Back in the days, wealth was being measured by how big a persons barn of yam was.

Huge yam produce symbolize hardwork and wealth, so it is no surprise that Life Lager Continental chose to unveil the world tallest yam pyramind in Nnewi, a city that symbolizes wealth that comes from hardwork .
