Air Peace ! Air Peace !! Air Peace !!!
How many times did i call you guys ?
I don't even know where to start, but let me first talk about how you people made me and my artise Professor Onye Egwu miss our flight from Lagos to Ghana by refusing to check us in almost 50 minutes before official depature time, on the ground that we were late and that you guys have concluded checking in for that particular flight.
That singular act by you guys costed us a huge sum to reschedule our flight.
We felt bad, ranted but finally decided to accept our fate, believing that we should have been to the airport hours before the official depature time of an international flight, and that Air Peace must be keeping to their flight depature time for treating us the way they did. We also assumed that 50 minutes to the depature time is not enough for the checks and different protocols being observed, as passengers undergo series of security checks for international travel.
So we rescheduled for the next day.
The next day, we arrived at the airport hours before our flight depature time, went through all the security checks, arrived the boarding room and waited for our flight to board and take off.
Our flight from Lagos to Accra was supposed to take off by 7:45 am. 7:45 am clocked and our flight hasn't taken off. It didn't take off ten minutes later either.
Now, my question is, why did Air Peace refuse to check us in 50 minutes before boarding time on the ground that were late, when they don't even keep to their own time ? Why did they make us incure extra cost for no reason ?
Are we going to call what they did a disciplinary measure when they are not even disciplined themselves ?
Are they trying to tell Nigerians and their customers that they can dish out punishment to anybody they like, while they dwell in impunity ?
That is one. The next is about how Air Peace loaded our luggages on a different flight, leaving us stranded at Enugu airport.
Yesterday was one of those days of having an unimaginable experience, as i boarded an Air Peace flight with my artise from Lagos to Enugu.
The depature time was 6:45 am
We got checked in with our luggages and boarded. There was no notice of any sort given to passengers either individually or through general announcement. We took off, landed in Enugu, headed to the arrivals, stood at the carousel looking out for our luggages. We sighted our first luggage, took it, continued looking out for the rest but it was taking longer time for us to sight them.
Few minutes later, we saw a gathering of some of the passengers on our flight with some Air Peace staff . We went to know the reason for the and we heard the Air Peace staff spitting something that everybody was finding difficult to understand. They said some luggages of passengers on our flight were loaded inside the aircraft of Enugu Air that will be landing in about 30 minutes time, while the remaining luggages was loaded on an Air Peace flight that will be coming into Enugu from Lagos by 2pm.
We were like, “ Air Peace, are you serious right now or are you just whining us ? So you mean our flight will land in Enugu by 7pm and we will wait till 2pm to get our luggages ? “
This is the height of anyhowness
This is the height of disregard for customers
This is the height of poor customer service
This is the height if inhumanity
What was the reason for transfering one's luggage to another aircraft ? Why were the passengers not informed ahead of time ? Did Air Peace consider the urgency of their passengers’ visit to their destinations, and how critical the items contained in their luggages could be for their visits?
Like, kedu ife na-akụrụ Air Peace egwu a ha na-agba ?
When they saw how agitated their passengers they have kept stranded were becoming, they now started promising they will deliver their luggages to any city or state they are in free of charge, but all those were nkwa a na-ekwe nwanyị n’elu bed.
I have always seen people call out Air Peace for one reason or the other, but never knew it is this bad.
Air Peace, you guys should do better.
