REPORT OF THE MEETING AT IGWE ORIZU PALACE ON NNEWI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP POSITION

A meeting was held yesterday, Saturday, 15th August 2026, at the Palace of Igwe Nnewi, His Royal Highness, Igwe Kenneth Orizu III, to discuss the ongoing disagreement over the rotation of the Mayoral position in Nnewi, following the refusal of the current Chairman, Hon. Echezona Anazodo from Umudim to allow someone from Nnewichi to take their turn based on Nnewi rotation arrangement.

POSITION OF OBI NNEWICHI, HIS HIGHNESS, OBI GEORGE ONYEKABA (OBIDIUGWU) -

His Highness, Obi George Onyekaba (Obidiugwu), presented the position that, based on the existing zoning arrangement and the 1997 agreement, the Chairmanship position should move to Nnewichi following the expiration of the tenure of Hon. Echezona Anazodo, from Umudim. He therefore suggested that APGA should consider producing its Mayoral Candidate from Nnewichi.

He also requested that Hon. Echezona Anazodo should have been in the meeting since the matter concerns the succession of his tenure. The Crown Prince, Obi Orizu, explained that Echezona Anazodo told him that he will be absent due to a scheduled meeting with the Governor in Awka. Chief Cletus Ibeto added that the meeting should go on despite the absence of Hon. Echezona Anazodo.

THOSE WHO SUPPORTED NNEWICHI BASED ON THE NNEWI ROTATION AGREEMENT -

1. Chief Emeka Chukwueloka (Okunaenyeife Nnewi) from Nnewichi supported that it was the turn of Nnewichi.

2. Chief Emeka Nzewi (Eziokwubundu Nnewi) from Uruagu referred to the 1997 agreement and said that he supports Nnewichi producing the next Mayor.

3. Chief Robert Anwatụ (Roban Stores) from Otolo supported Nnewichi and the interpretation of the 1997 agreement presented.

4. Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson) from Umudim supported Nnewichi, stating that keeping the position in Umudim will be contrary to his understanding of the agreement.

5. Chief Gabriel Chukwuma (Gabros) - from Umudim referred to previous instances involving Prince Chukwudi Orizu and Hon. Amala Anazodo, on how they honoured Nnewi rotation agreement. He suggested that Hon. Echezona Anazodo should similarly step aside.

THOSE WHO SUPPORTED HON. ECHEZONA ANAZODO -

1. Chief Cletus Ibeto from Uruagu stated that Nnewichi should wait for another two years before taking the Mayoral position.

2. His Highness, Obi Afam Obi (Ogidi IV) of Uruagu Nnewi, supported the continuation of Hon. Echezona Anazodo and, appealed to Nnewichi to wait for another two years.

3. His Highness, Obi Benneth Okafor (Amaukwu) of Umudim Nnewi, stated that he supports the position that Umudim through Hon. Echezona Anazodo should continue.

OUTCOME OF THE MEETING -

The meeting ended without a final agreement. The moderator, Chief Ben Etiaba, announced that a Committee will be constituted to examine the issues raised and explore possible ways of resolving the disagreement.

FOLLOW-UP VISIT TO CHIEF CLETUS IBETO

After the Palace meeting, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Chief Emeka Nzewi, Chief Robert Anwatụ and Chief Benneth Ngonadi visited Chief Cletus Ibeto at his residence to seek common ground. Chief Cletus Ibeto maintained his position that Umudim should retain the Mayoral position for another two years before Nnewichi takes its turn. No agreement was reached.

“When I got married, marriage was hèll. If there is anything called “hèllièr than hèll”, that was exactly how my marriage felt.

In the first week of our marriage, I asked my wife a simple question, and she got upset. I was coming from a background where we did not know too much anger, but I had married a woman who knew anger very well.

We were in the kitchen. She was arranging tea cups, saucers and other things when, suddenly, she moved all the cups and plates with one hand, and they fell to the ground. Bam, bam, bam, bam. She turned around and gave me a stare. I was shocked. I had never seen anything like that before. I went into the room, packed my things and left the house because I genuinely thought the next thing she would do was be@t me.

This continued for a while because she had a fundamental problem with anger. I could not talk to my wife freely without worrying about how she would react. Every now and then, she acted as though she was the man of the house.

Let me cut the long story short. One day, I told God, “I am done. I have done everything right in this life. The only thing I got wrong was my marriage. You know me, I have tried. Let us go our separate ways. She is successful, I am successful, and everybody will be fine.”

But before I get to what God told me, let me share one story. My wife and I were once in London. She went into a shop while I remained outside. Later, I went into another shop to pick up something. When she returned and found out I had gone to another shop, she became upset.

I said, “Ah, you should have told me you were going to the other shop. We would have gone together. I am not used to the cold here.” She looked at me and said, “What did you say? What did you say?” I told her, “That is what I said. Do you want me to be afraid of you?” That was a statement I often made because I felt she was always trying to intimidate me.

She left me in that shop and went home. I did not even realise she had left until much later. I called

This is what we called Real Love 💕💕💕

Content creator Peller has tied the knot with his wife, Jarvis, as he delivered a heartfelt personal vow to her during their wedding ceremony.

As he prepared to say “I do,” Peller reflected on their relationship and promised to love, respect, and stand by Jarvis throughout their life together.

He said:

“Today, I am standing here looking at the woman I prayed for, dreamed of, and chose to spend the rest of my life with. From today, it is not me and you; we are one. Yes, even if people talk say na 50/50, yes, na 50/50, everything.

I promise to love you, respect you, protect you, and stand by you in every season of our life. When life gets hard, I will hold your hand, when you are happy, I will celebrate with you; and when we grow old, I will still look at you the same way I'm looking at you today. Since I met you in VI in 2023, you still look beautiful in my eyes till today.

Thank you for choosing me and for believing in us, and for becoming my wife. I love you more than words can explain. Today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives, I choose you.”

She was recorded and mocked for wearing a bad wig during her convocation.

The video was everywhere.

People called her unprintable names.

They bul!lied her for what was beyond her control.

But God was busy writing a beautiful story for her.

Many of those who bul!led her then never expected what is happening right now.

She's become a celebrity overnight.

Destiny helpers have risen up from different parts of the globe, stretching forth their hands of fellowship to her.

What the enemy meant for êvīl, God upturned it for her good.

This kind God!!! Another one no dey at all.

Today, she has a brand new Instagram account that is almost at 9k followers.

She has a clothing brand in the pipeline.

She has good phones, clothes, shoes, and lest I forget, expensive wigs.

Consistency on social media is good. But it might take you years to get the level of fame she has now.

Connection is great. When you have the right connection on social media, it might take you weeks or months to get the kind of attention the "Wig Girl" now commands.

But you see the grace called FAVOUR?

It can compress 20 years into 2 seconds.

People of God, pray for grace called FAVOUR.

It's real!

I've seen it at work several times.

I woke up this morning and it was heavily impressed upon my heart.

Hence, my first post here today was simply, "You Shall Enjoy The Grace Called Favour!"

See grace at work in this lady's life.

If an angle submits your file to God and God attends to it, your life will become a living testimony of God's amazing grace.

May God stamp your heart's desires.

May the grace called FAVOUR work for you, amen!

P.S: We pin here. I'm following her story back-to-back. I know I'm not alone here.
