°°°•••BEWARE OF THE IDES OF MARCH•••°°°
Ides of March is the 15th day of March. Ides is the midday in a month. Hence every month has its own "Ides".
However, ides of March stands out remarkably because it commemorates the day Julius Caesar was killed by his best, most trusted Ally and friend - Brutus.

"Beware of the Idea of March" The soothsayer warned Caesar but Caesar didn't pay attention. His deaf ears led to his betrayal and death.

You know what? As the traitors began killing Caesar, in his gallant nature as a warrior of no mean character Caesar fought ferociously against them, the strikes from their swords giving him no "pain" until a strike came. How chilled he would have felt to see the person wielding the sword?

The struck that made him amazed and bewildered came from his best friend, companion, Ally and all in all. "Brutus". I would have compared it to the betrayal of Jesus. But Jesus knew who was to betray him, and I can say he was emotionally ready for it. Julius Caesar didn't know and wasn't. He must have had an electrifying shock and all he could say we're these words, "Et tu Brute" - "Even you Brutus". At this juncture he didn't fight any longer. He lost the fight. O dear Caesar sorry for you.

"Brutus was an Honorable man" Mac Anthony cried out at the Funeral where he gave a Paradoxical speech that every second resounds in my mind asleep or awake. "Friends Romans lend me you ears. I have come to bury Caesar and not to praise him, the evils that men do live after them..."

Ides of March remains significant. But their are Ides of other months. Caesar was victim, you can also be a victim. Your "victimhood" must not even be on an "Ides". It can be on any day.

Your friend(s) can be your "Brutus", but you too can be a "Brutus " to your friend(s).

You may have been a victim of "Brutusisation", you may have "Brutusised " another.
Circumstances as these can make one loose interest in friendship and also doubting "trust".

Are you a reason why someone doesn't believe in trust again? Are you a reason why people fear to have friends? Are you a victim?
Be wise so that it doesn't happen again.

Beware of the Ides of March.

in History

On September 11, 2001, a tragic event occurred that shook the world to its core. This day will forever be etched in our collective memory, and the pain and loss felt by so many still reverberate through time.

On this day, we remember and honor the countless lives that were tragically lost and the immense suffering endured by their loved ones. Our hearts go out to all those who were affected by the events of 9/11, both directly and indirectly.

In the face of such darkness and despair, it can be challenging to find solace and understanding. Yet, even in the midst of unimaginable tragedy, we can turn to our faith and find strength.

During times like these, it is vital to remember that God's love and mercy are boundless. He sees our pain, and He weeps with us. Lean on Him for comfort and guidance, and allow His compassion to heal your wounded heart.

As we reflect on the events of 9/11, let us also remember the countless acts of bravery and heroism that emerged from the darkness. Ordinary individuals became heroes, risking their lives to save others. Their selflessness and courage serve as a testament to the triumph of the human spirit.

In the face of adversity, let us not be consumed by anger or despair, but instead, let our hearts be filled with compassion and unity. Together, we can rise above hatred and division, striving to create a world rooted in love, understanding, and peace.

On this day of remembrance, let us honor the memory of those we lost by committing ourselves to acts of kindness, compassion, and unity. May their legacies inspire us to build a brighter future, one where love triumphs over hatred and where the wounds of the past can slowly begin to heal.

Though we may never fully understand the complexities of this tragic day, I hope that you find solace in knowing that you are not alone in your sorrow. We stand together, offering support and love to one another, as we navigate the pain and grief that still lingers in our hearts.

May God's comforting presence be with you and all those affected by the events of 9/11, reminding us that even amidst the darkest of times, His light will guide us towards healing and hope.

With heartfelt remembrance,
