‎These questions rose after Donald Nwachukwu Trump has started taking resources from Venezuela as he said the country would turnover up to 50 million barrels of oil to the US, after a military operation to remove President Nicolás Maduro from power.

‎Tower FM Panel realizes that now US is Svcking from the deep oil tanks of the country they intervened in their affais, Nigeria is not far behind.

‎The oil, worth about $2.8 billion will be sold at its market price, the US president wrote on social media, adding that he would control the money raised and use it to benefit the people of Venezuela and the US.

‎This is even as the US has seized a Russian-flagged oil tanker linked to Venezuela after tracking it across the Atlantic, according to the US European Command. The US said it also seized another Venezuela-linked vessel in the Caribbean in the early hours of January 3, 2026.

‎His comments come after he said the US oil industry would be up and running in Venezuela within 18 months and that he expected huge investments to pour into the country.

‎China, which has been the biggest buyer of Venezuelan oil in recent years, has condemned Trump’s announcement as well as the US’s reported demands that Venezuela gives its oil exclusively to them.

‎It is not clear if Venezuela’s interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, has agreed to an exclusive partnership with the US on oil production and sever economic ties with China, Russia, Iran and Cuba.

Tragedy in Nsukka‼️🗼😭

YULETIDE TRAGEDY: ENUGU POLICE ARREST 51-YEAR-OLD SECURITY MAN FOR GRUESOME MURDER OF HIS 19-YEAR-OLD COUSIN SISTER

The Enugu State Police Command, through operatives of the Nsukka Urban Division, with the support of Neighbourhood Watch Group, on 1st December 2025, arrested one Emeka Emmanuel Nwangwu (male, aged 51) for the gruesome murder of his maternal cousin sister, Loveth Uloma Nwangwu, aged 19. The suspect, a member of the Neighbourhood Security Watch Group, committed the crime at a pharmacy in Nsukka, where he was arrested.

The deceased had earlier reported a case of defilement, sexual abuse, abduction, and threat to life against the suspect on 28th November 2025 to Umabor Division. She alleged that she had been living with the suspect since 2019, at age 13, after the death of his wife, and that he had restricted her communication with family and friends and subjected her to sexual abuse.

After attempting to escape to her family home in Enugu-Ezike, Igbo-Eze North LGA, the suspect allegedly threatened her with a firearm, forcing her back to his residence in Ibeku-Opi, Nsukka LGA, where she was locked up in a room. She later escaped using a spare key and reported the incident to the police, who issued her a medical report form for examination. The suspect and family were invited to the station, where he confessed, sought forgiveness, and promised to return her property. The family, citing personal ties, initially chose not to prosecute the case but opted for spiritual cleansing due to the incestuous and abominable act against the victim.

Tragically, while receiving treatment at a pharmacy in Nsukka, the suspect forced his way in, assaulted her, and struck her head repeatedly on the floor, causing fatal injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital, where her death was confirmed and her remains deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy. The suspect was rearrested and is in police custody.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, condemned the crime and the cruel manner in which it was committed, consoling the family and assuring the public that justice will be served. He has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (State CID) to investigate the case meticulously and ensure that it is charged to court within record time.

🗼 Madam Queen speaks on the fallen schools in Enugu State on Tower FM, calling on Peter Mbah to intervene - "GTC and Urban Girls students can't write their names. Govt. Schools are raising miscre@nts who can't speak English"

On the show (Your Voice in The Tower) on Monday 3rd Nov. 2025, Queen called in to speak with the host Franklyn Obiora (Uncle Frank), also to air her view on the situation of government schools in Enugu State. She made it known that students fail WAEC and normal termly exams in government schools, as private is taking. She called on the governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, not to just face Smart schools, but revitalize the already existing government schools, naming GTC and Urban Girls for instance, saying "these schools now raise cvltists and all sorts of children who can't write their names correctly, nor speak good English".

She balmed the teachers and the government for having abandoned the project of government schools.

Another caller (Eriwa Agwụ agwụ), supported the motion, saying those schools now use mobile phones to write exams. Nke onye metara also called and made it clear that parents needs not to just say it on radio, rather, write a petition to gov. Mbah, or do a protest 🪧 asking for a reborn of govt. schools to avoid privates taking over. Okwu ọtọ ekele eze blended hia voice in support

Eze Chukwuma in his own contribution on the show, pointed to the other side of the coin by saying that most parents don't take care of their kids, saying "teachers don't even see students in classes anymore, while some go to school 🎒 as late as 10:00am in dirty uniforms".
He blamed parents who don't even help the teachers as sometimes, teachers don't see students in class. "Parents and teachers needs to work together to raise better kids" he said.

🗼 Breaking: Gunmen has allegedly burned down Catholic Church, K1ll others in Ohimini, Benue State

According to report, over 10 persons have been gunned down and many others still missing after suspected Herdsmen launched a deadly attack on Oglewu community in Ohimini LGA of Benue State.

Idoma Voice gathered that the attackers stormed the community around 5pm on Tuesday and unleashed terror on villagers.

The attack came shortly after security personnel and government officials left the community.
