Saudi Arabia Declares Eid al-Fitr on Sunday

Saudi Arabia has confirmed the sighting of the Shawwal crescent, signaling the conclusion of Ramadan.

As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the beginning of the new Islamic month.

The announcement was shared on Haramain’s official page, a key platform for Muslims worldwide.

“The crescent moon for the month of Shawwal 1446 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025,” the statement read.
