POLITICS: WHY MONEY WINS, NOT INTEGRITY ___ Grand Mufti of Yoruba Land Edo and Delta

In today’s politics, money has increasingly become the strongest determinant of political success, while integrity and character are often pushed to the background.

A candidate may lack competence, capacity, or even the moral character required to lead, yet once there is enough money to distribute, many people are willing to look beyond those shortcomings.

This is the politics we have created for ourselves—a politics where money dictates, rather than Omoluabi; where wealth speaks louder than integrity; and where political loyalty can be bought.

No political party is completely exempt from this reality. The problem is bigger than party colours; it is a problem of our political culture and the choices we make.

Politics does not merely need wealthy politicians. We needs leaders with character.

The final part of Wasilah's speech

The content of my live video was completely scripted, including the assertion that I had been bleeding since seeing the olóòlù masquerade and feeling unrest, however, it was not true,they came to arrest me in a good condition

They later convened my family members and my husband in a certain room, where they were obligated to pay a sum of ₦400,000 as part of the "Orò" rites. Despite my husband's initial displeasure, the money was eventually transferred to them through my Opay account.

The room in which I was held until the following day was extremely unhygienic, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant odor, to the extent that I required medical treatment to recover.

While receiving medical care, I was made aware of a rumour claiming I had passed away, leading me to return to social media to set the record straight, and I am relieved to be in good health.

Another line of action on the olóòlù saga...

I was apprehended and transported to the police station, where I was held in custody, and my family secured my release the next day.

Following my release on bail, I was requested to attend an "Orò" cleansing ceremony, where my family was instructed to procure a red piece of wrapper, a live goat, and a razor blade for shaving my hair.

They slaughtered the goat and instructed me to carry it on my shoulder while dancing around the shrine, with the explicit warning not to wash off the blood stains until the next day.

According to Wasilah about the Olóòlù Masquerade Saga*

I only recorded the patrol vehicles of Amotekun Security Guards and added a caption "Olóòlù is around Atolu" to warn people away from the area... I did not catch a glimpse of Olóòlù, nor did I record him---Wasilah

Sokotí and his entourage were the first people who challenged me, and by that time I had deleted that video

He immediately contacted the police to have me arrested, alleging that Olúbàdàn had ordered my arrest.

P. O. V... Who is Sokoti, how is he connected to Olúbàdàn and what was the reason for Wasilah's arrest?
