The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in Oyo State ended with a sweeping victory for Senator Sarafadeen Alli, who emerged as the party’s candidate after securing 578,143 votes in the exercise held across the state.Election Monitoring Tools

Alli defeated other contenders by a wide margin, with Senator Buhari polling 37,265 votes, while former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, garnered 19,193 votes.

The outcome of the primary sparked celebrations among supporters of the APC chieftain, as prominent businessman and Okanlomo Oodua/Bada Olubadan, Dotun Sanusi, described the victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in Alli’s leadership and vision for Oyo State.

BRIEF OF WHAT HAPPENED IN COURT TODAY

According to eye witnesses who were presented at the court, the case between Kabiyesi and Imam yinus toliat was presented before the judge and the both counsel called out name of their colleagues who were together on the case,

And the proceedings began, The witness name Prof Ahmad Folorunsho Fagba from ilorin Kwara State was called into the dock and took the oath of the court by the testament of the religion he believes which is Islam, and with Al quran that whatever he going to say in the court is nothing but the truth, May Almighty Allah help him,

The Counsel Sobaloju proceeds in asking him questions regarding what he knows about appointments and selection of imamship in Ogbomoso,

(Q1) Do you know Ogbomoso had had inclusive Alhaji Yinus Àyilàrà 13 grand Chief Imam,

Witness -- I suppose, Later said, I did not understand the question,

(Q2) You have never been involved in any in selection and appointments of any Grand chief Imam that have had in Ogbomoso

Witness -- Not At All,

(Q3) You are also not involved in the process leading to the appointment and selection of the first claimant as a grend chief Imam not from Ogbomoso,

Witness--- Not At All,

(Q4) You are equally not know that since the emanated houses and the pattern in produce grand chief Imam in Ogbomoso

Witness -- No

(Q5) Let go general, says lawyer Sobaloju,
Have you ever had of the name Sura committee in Ogbomoso ?

Witness -- Yes, But I wasn't a member,

(Q6) In further exercise, Have you ever produced any books in regards to an Islamic law in Ogbomoso

(Q7) You have equally, in your scholarly excersice not written any books as to how Islamic State produced imams or Chief imams

(Q8) You have been involved in any excersice in regards to selection and appointments of Chief Imams in Mecca, Saudi Arabia or Kano ?,

Witness -- He said NO, But he is involve in ilorin,

(9) Do you know the cause of dispute in this case ?
Witness -- Yes,

Can you explain the dispute in one sentence ?

Witness -- He said, Imam Toliat was appointed inline appropriately and He was about to be removed unlawfully,

Do you have any evidence to produce this court that he wanted to be removed unlawfully ?

Witness -- No,

(Q10) You are not an indigen of Ogbomoso ?

Witness -- No At All,

Since you're not an indigen of Ogbomoso, that shows the right that you did not know the practice and procedure selecting leadership in Ogbomoso ?

Witness -- Not At All,,

But one question that is still troubling the minds of many who presented at the court today is, How can Witness (Mr Ahmad Folorunsho) from ilorin Kwara State who had no relationship or affiliations with Ogbomoso bears witness to system he knew nothing about ???
