**IRONY**
Most of the secondary school students think that irony does not have different types and some says it is just Three types but here are the explanation on irony

1. **Verbal Irony:** This occurs when a person says one thing but means the opposite. It's often used sarcastically door humorously. For example, if it's raining heavily outside, and someone says, "What a beautiful day," that's verbal irony.

2. **Dramatic Irony:** This happens when the audience or reader knows something that the characters in the story do not. It creates tension or humor as the characters' actions are based on their lack of knowledge. An example is in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" when the audience knows that Juliet is not really dead, but Romeo does not.

3. **Situational Irony:** This type of irony involves a discrepancy between what is expected to happen and what actually occurs. It's often used to create surprises or twists in a story. For instance, a fire station burning down is an example of situational irony.

4. **Cosmic Irony (Ironic Fate):** This type of irony suggests that fate, destiny, or the universe is indifferent or even hostile to human aspirations. It often results in a tragic or pessimistic outcome. In "Oedipus Rex," Oedipus tries to avoid his prophesied fate but ends up fulfilling it, which is an example of cosmic irony.
