"TWINDAD CUP 2025 KICKS OFF WITH A BANG! 🎉⚽️

The highly anticipated tournament finally kicked off today, September 30, 2025, at Obada Community High School field in Obada, Odo-Oba. The ceremony was graced by His Royal Highness Oba Samuel Oyekunle, the Olu of Obada, who officially kicked off the tournament.

The opening match featured Olobada FC, affectionately known as The Kingsboyz, against Ayegun Yemetu FC. The home team dominated the match, showcasing their skills and teamwork, and ultimately emerged victorious with a 3-0 win. The crowd was electrified by the exciting display of football, and it was clear that the teams are hungry for success.

Notable dignitaries in attendance included Comarde Dapo Adelakun, Vice Chairman of NFCA Oyo State Chapter; Alhaji Bashiru, Chairman of NFCA Ogbomoso Zone; Mr. Samson, TWINDAD Manager; Mr. Peter Folorunso Adeleye; Coach Bisi Awoye; Coach Adepoju Job; and Coach Abiodun Adeleye, the chief organizer. Hockray (Omo Ogbomoso) and many more football enthusiasts were also present to support the teams.
