THE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL OF NDỊ NZE NA ỌZỌ OGBUNIKE MOURNS MRS. NGOZI IDOKO

Today, August 9th, 2025, the Traditional Council Of Ndi Nze Na Ozo Ogbunike came together to address Ogbunike community during a deeply sorrowful moment.
We gathered to mourn the tragic loss of Mrs. Ngozi Idoko, a pregnant nurse whose life was brutally cut short. The shocking discovery of her body in a soakaway pit has left us in a state of collective grief and outrage, forcing us to confront the painful reality of violence within our community.
In this press statement, the Council voices the shared heartbreak of Ogbunike, while also calling for urgent justice and accountability.
We express our demands for comprehensive measures to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are brought to justice and that our community undergoes vital cleansing and reform.
Today, we honor Mrs. Idoko's memory and pledge to restore peace and dignity to our beloved Ogbunike.
