A HEART OF GOLD: DIKEORA IDEMILI BRINGS HOPE TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN OGIDI.

In a remarkable show of compassion and leadership, High Chief prof. Obiora Okonkwo (Dikeora Idemili) with the United Nigeria Air Line..extended a hand of love and generosity to the victims of the recent flood disaster in Abor, Ire, and Eziogidi communities of Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area.

Chief Obiora Okonkwo, known for his philanthropic spirit and love for humanity, did not just send help — he personally visited the affected areas to identify with the victims, listen to their stories, and share in their pain. In an emotional and heartwarming outreach, he distributed 200 tubers of yam, 100 bags of 10kg rice, and a cash donation of ₦5 million to the displaced families.

Each affected family went home with 2 tubers of yam, 1 bag of 10kg rice, and ₦50,000 in cash each to help them restart their lives after the devastating floods. Witnesses described the atmosphere as joyful and full of gratitude — songs of praise and prayers filled the air as tears of relief rolled down many faces.

High Chief Obiora Okonkwo’s gesture went beyond charity; it was a demonstration of true leadership and empathy, a reminder that humanity thrives when compassion leads the way. He emphasized the need for unity, resilience, and shared responsibility, calling on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to join hands in rebuilding lives and restoring hope in the affected communities.

The people of Ogidi, both at home and abroad, have continued to express deep appreciation to Dikeora Idemili, whose love and care have once again proven that “a true leader is not known by his title, but by the lives he touches.”
