Hon Dr Mrs Eunice Alabo, the Executive Vice Chairman of Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area, has been honored by the Ibiayemie Social Club of Bolo.

The prestigious recognition, witnessed by club members, community leaders, and critical stakeholders, highlights her people-driven leadership and steadfast commitment to the development of Ogu-Bolo.

The Ibiayemie Social Club celebrated her for promoting inclusive governance, strengthening unity between Ogu and Bolo communities, and prioritizing grassroots welfare.

Her resilience, accessibility, and dedication to youth participation and women inclusion were highly commended by the club.
In a strategic move to advance economic sustainability at the grassroots, Hon Dr Mrs Eunice Alabo empowered and supported five (5) women with #100,000 each, totaling #500,000, to boost their individual businesses.

The beneficiaries described the intervention as timely and transformational, expressing appreciation for the support aimed at expanding their enterprises and improving household livelihoods.

The empowerment scheme was implemented in line with the visionary activities of her Boss, Chief Barr Vincent Nemieboka JP, DSSRS, whose leadership philosophy centers on strategic community support, economic strengthening, and sustainable grassroots development. The initiative reflects his long-standing commitment to service, which continues to shape developmental programs across the local government area.

Furthermore, the empowerment scheme aligns with the visionary and developmental vision of Chief Barr Vincent Nemieboka JP, DSSRS, under whom Hon Dr Mrs Eunice Alabo continues to advance impactful and visionary community-focused activities.

The program underscores their shared resolve toward improving local entrepreneurship, especially among women, to drive economic independence and community prosperity.

In her acceptance remarks, Hon Dr Mrs Eunice Alabo expressed gratitude to the Ibiayemie Social Club for the honor and reaffirmed her commitment to advancing development, empowerment, and social unity across Ogu-Bolo.

This milestone reinforces the value of purposeful leadership and community partnership in driving sustainable development, inclusion, and shared prosperity in Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area.

Today, Hon Engr Arnold Okobiriari Davids JP, Member representing Ogu-Bolo Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, officially handed over the electrification project at the New Sandfield Area (Sandfield Extension), Ogu.

The project is part of his Social Intervention and Community Development Initiatives, designed to strengthen infrastructure and improve the standard of living in expanding communities.

The project was commissioned by the Chairman of the Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs, Chief Lawrence Ibiebiari, alongside other traditional rulers, chiefs, and stakeholders.

Chief Lawrence Ibiebiari, while commissioning the project, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon Engr Arnold Okobiriari Davids JP. In his remarks, he noted that “despite experiencing crisis during his tenure as an Assembly Member, many would have used it as an excuse, but Hon Engr Arnold Davids demonstrated strong leadership and still attracted meaningful and impactful projects to the community.” He further commended the lawmaker for his resilience, dedication, and commitment to community development.
He also highlighted that the electrification project is powered by a 500KVA transformer, one of the biggest in size and capacity ever installed in Ogu, and currently among the highest-capacity transformers serving any single community in the area.

The installation of this transformer underscores the project’s ability to carry a larger load, provide improved stability, and support future growth and expansion.
